Bought my 2023 jeep compass new from heritage in June, and had a great experience. Decided to come back to the same dealership for my first oil change/tire rotation, and I’m glad I did. Between other local Jeep dealerships putting in a cheaper oil than I paid for, to not doing a tire rotation I paid for (and denying it) I was looking for a new place to go. My service advisor David Phelps was extremely polite and professional and took care of all of my needs.

The service team is great. Especially, Scott Rivenbark. The first time I went in for an issue he informed it was covered by an extended warranty I took out when I bought the Jeep in 2010 back when I lived in Virginia. I thought it had expired as a previous dealer did some brake work that should have been covered under the warranty and never mentioned it. They also did it wrong. Scott got it all straightened out. I have had several issues since fixed and Scott got many of them covered under the warranty. He is very professional and takes obvious pride in getting the job done properly with outstanding customer service. He is the reason I will continue to go there for any work that needs to be done.

I had to call for updates and received one that told me they took another car in front of mine after telling me that they were working on mine. It made my plans very complicated.

I took my 2018 van to tate dodge to have the oil filter - Don't go to tate

I took my 2018 van to tate dodge to have the oil filter housing replaced under warranty. I have done this job myself several times on other chrysler 3.6 engines for friends. It is a common issue for that engine and should be very straightforward. I considered doing it myself but decided since it was under warranty I would save some money and have Tate do it. I went to pick up my "completed" van. It was missing half the bolts holding the intake manifold down, the oil was 2 quarts low from them not refilling it after having the engine apart. It had several clips broken and the air intake was never tightened down. I will provide pictures of this. The van is also completely covered in several quarts of oil. I have no idea if the leak is still present right now because even after cleaning several times there is so much oil stuck down in the valleys under the intake. I brought this the the attention of the shop foreman and they took the van back in to fix it. It still isn't fixed. These pictures are of the van underneath after the 2nd attempt. I am told the mechanic that worked on my vehicle has been at tate for 30 years. There is absolutely no excuse for this type work. My van was in absolutely perfect condition except the oil filter housing when I took it in. It will never be the same now. Stay far away. If Tate responds to this review like others asking me to reach out to talk about my problems please know I have already tried with no support.

My car (2010 challenger) broke down outside of Accident MD 7 weeks ago. Needless to say it is still not fixed. The first week they had other work and could not look at my car to the end of the week (totally understand) The second week they informed me that it was the timing belt that broke, later that week they informed me that some of the valves were not holding pressure, resulting in them having to take the engine apart for repair. Weeks 3-5 they were ripping the motor apart and waiting for back ordered parts. On saturday at the end of week 6 after calling they informed me that it was all good it just needed to be timed. I called back tuesday where they again informed me its all good just needs timed.. so i called today (2-20-2014) to confirm the time i can pick up my car friday, only to be informed that there is still a cyclinder issues and it may be ready next week. As of right now Dodge corprate has "launched" a service review/investigation. After having Dodge HQ call them the service manager said he would provide me a rental car. If the service department is a example of this dealership i would stay very far away. Just a finishing note- They have never called me to update me on the repair work, i have had to call them everytime. Please beware.

Purchased a used Jeep Wrangler for my daughter who is in college. The car stopped working a month after we purchased it. Working with Brittany was seamless. She helped us troubleshoot the problem and was helpful in getting it fixed. Although it was frustrating because we needed to be without a car, the ongoing updates, excellent service and professionalism was very much appreciated. Brandon was also helpful in this process in providing professional service.
