My first encounter with a Volvo Dealership. - SL27BAISDEN
My first encounter with a Volvo Dealership. Atmosphere is laid-back, but professional. At first the entire staff appears unresponsive and unengaging, like they don't see their customers but after a few minutes they respond. My sales person was Amidjah Tossel. He was courteous, supportive, yet not overbearing as some Sales people tend to be, (which I appreciated his demeanor). He answered my questions, and if he did not have the answers would immediately seek out & come with a resolution to my concern. We spoke in detail about the different models, car features, performance, various warrantees, cost & values. Once they realized I was serious re a purchase the Manager, Dave and support & staff became more attentive & responsive to my questions and concerns. Also Giovanni was supportive and did a good job with the financing aspects. He also did a good job 'upselling' Volvo Warrantee packages, of which I purchased 3 - the extended, the maintenance and the brake packages. I am a person that vets out the details etc especially when making a sizable purchase like a car. I checked with family & friends (who are Volvo car owners) for their experiences & interactions with Volvo... note: their responses were all positive! This was one of the deciding factors for my first purchase of a Volvo. Also, deciding factors are: the car performance,service/ maintenance needs/costs, and affordability. Overall, I appreciated the dealership and just pray that now that I am a Member of the Volvo team that my experiences continue to be as nice & supportive as the sale
