My husband and I were in search of a bigger car for our new addition to our family, so we googled a dealership in Jacksonville, and we are incredibly pleased with the results of coming to GMC Nimnicht. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Mr. James Jones in the parking lot, which started our experience out on a great note by kicking the anxiety of walking inside and not knowing exactly where to go. James was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very patient! I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Buying a new car is always a lengthy process, however James did everything in his power to make us as comfortable as possible, and get through the paperwork as quickly as he could. Since 2019, I have had the pleasure with EXCELLENT customer service from Dick Norris which is now Tasca Dealership. The exceptional service I have received are from the following individuals. Mike Bennett, David with the goatee, Luke, and Toby service manager. All of these gentlemen have provided me with extraordinary customer service. All of them were professional, upbeat, funny, and overall honest. In this particular time in life, it is hard to feel comfortable with so many people/companies taking advantage of others. I have never felt that way with this team at this dealership. They always told me what I would need in the future to budget myself for the next repair. My 2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL lasted for 208,000 same engine because of these guys and the techs as well. I no longer have the Lacrosse because she served her purpose since 2014 with my family. I've been running my credit for vehicles at this dealership and I can't believe they doesn't allow consumers to ask for supervisors. Today Oct 2 2024 I spoke with a salesman that says he deals directly with finance but he doesn't know that the Consumer credit transaction is governed by Truth in lending act and that full disclosure shall be met even if I didn't sign the contract. He admitted that the dealership engages in fraud by misleading consumers into believing down payments are necessary 15 USC 1605 says no comparable cash transaction necessary when finance charge is present the finance charge is a loan( Purchase Money Loan) to be exact which is a cash advance by exchange of promissory Note aka contracts. I asked for financing director or the GM he said I didn't need to speak with them I said your dealership has my social security number which makes them trustees to my trust and their Fiduciary obligations is for my best interest which is sale me the car . If anyone went to this dealership and paid a down payment you were defrauded APR is the cost of the consumers credit which we are secured party creditors in this transaction.

Helpful Sales Associate, But Pricing Was a Dealbreaker Rachel, our Sales and Leasing Associate, was attentive, professional, and respectful of our time while we were searching for a truck. We initially planned to purchase a 2025 model, but she introduced us to a 2024 GMC Sierra that had just come off lease — low mileage, clean Carfax, and clearly well cared for by the previous owner. It was a truck I genuinely liked. That said, while we were prepared to pay cash, we were told the out-the-door price would be increased by $1,000 because we weren’t financing through the dealership. The explanation was that this charge offsets the profit the dealership would’ve received from financing — and while we understood the logic, after praying on it, we felt the move came off as a little slimy with Financing. At that point, the vehicle hadn't been detailed or inspected yet, but we had already put a $1,000 hold on it. During the wait, we continued researching and noticed that the market had a strong supply of similar 2024 GMC Sierras due to short-term leases ending. We ultimately went with a broker/concierge who helped us secure a nearly identical Sierra — same year, similar mileage — for $5,000 less out the door. While it didn’t include the step bars, bedliner protection, or cover, we’ll add those ourselves for far less than the difference (about 40% of the savings). When we received a counteroffer by text, it wasn’t even close to competitive — and at that point, the math just didn’t make sense. I do appreciate the dealership's lifetime warranty offer, but honestly, from everything I’ve read and researched about the GMC Sierra 1500, it’s built to last. Increasing profits through used cars being financed is a debatable practice — I personally don’t think it’s something you build a foundation upon. But after reading the practices talked about in the reviews, it’s clear the lens of what’s ethical or moral is in question. I hope the $1,000 refundable deposit is actually refunded to my bank account. That said — Rachel was a standout. If you do decide to shop here, ask for Rachel. She was the best part of the experience, and someone I’d gladly work with again.

The service department at Jim Browne Chevrolet GMC in Dade City were terrific to deal with. They replaced the windshield and repaired paint defects on the vehicle I purchased. They also replaced all the locking hub nuts and repaired a leaky tire. They were extremely responsive and repaired the vehicle without hesitation. I will take all my vehicles to Jim Browne for service given the attention they paid us. They provided the best customer service!

So Glad I Found My Perfect Ride Here! I recently leased a new GMC Terrain and I couldn't be happier. Johnathan, was incredibly knowledgeable about the 4 different vehicles I had my mind on, and he patiently answered every question I had. He even helped me compare the 4 different vehicles with all the trim levels to find the perfect fit for my needs. At one point, I decided I might want to purchase instead of lease, so he went through the options in that format as well. Unlike other dealerships I visited, surprisingly, there was absolutely no pressure to buy and absolutely no high-pressure sales tactics. Just to be sure I wasn’t making the process to easy on them; I decided on a vehicle that wasn’t on-site, but they located it and had it in the parking lot before the end of the day. The financing process was simple and transparent. Jacob clearly explained all my options and helped me secure a great interest rate. He found a few rebates that I wasn't aware of. I also appreciated the clean and comfortable atmosphere of the dealership (they are kid friendly!). This group is genuine and helped me find the right car, not just to make a sale.

She was incredibly helpful and showed that this dealership really takes care of their customers. Made an Appointment weeks in advance to have my oil changed. I arrived at my scheduled time of 10am. Told the service advisor I was going to Walmart and i’d be backed as I had a birthday party to attend at 1pm. I retuned at noon only to find that my car had not been touched. 2 hours after my scheduled appointment my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I’m a super busy person and taking the time to drop off my car took advance planning. Ben the service advisor acted like it was my fault because I wasn’t able to leave my car there for 8 hours (all day) to have a simple oil change. I left with no oil change. Funny that this was the free maintenance Chevy offers. That’s one way to not stand by your promise, make it impossible to get the service done. I need to add that a year later I’m still trying to get my 2nd key that should have been given to me the day I bought the Car in June 2024. I guess it takes 6 months to order a replacement key that the dealership could not find. Needless to say avoid avoid avoid!
