My husband and I were ecstatic to find the exact car we wanted, at a great price point at Terryville Chevrolet, approximately 1.5 hour drive from our home. Little did we know how much of a headache it would be. We had our own financing lined up, and Terryville Chevy was infuriating to deal with. We were consistently supplied misinformation when we asked questions regarding the sales process in CT (we are MA residents), and constantly told how difficult MA makes the registration process. Once all finances were agreed upon, Terryville Chevy neglected to give us documentation (I.e. pricing worksheet OR Bill of Sale) for TWO days, (although it was ready). We finally were able to work things out, then, upon signing all of the paperwork with the finance manager, I was cornered and berated by our sales person for not bringing a bank check with us (which we were not able to do, as they had not provided us the proper documentation to do so). When we were finally able to get that sorted, we received no confirmation from Terryville Chevy that our registration had been processed in the state of MA, and were clear to get the car inspected. Before getting the car inspected, we discovered that the car horn does not work, and therefore, the car will get a rejection sticker. I have been given the run around AGAIN to find a reasonable solution to this issue, as my husband and I no longer TRUST Terryville Chevy to ensure this car's safety or fix the issue. This car should have NEVER left the lot in this condition, and they do not seem willing to work with us to fix it. We feel ripped off and taken advantage of.
