Incredible Service We had an engine light come on. I called the service department. The next morning my car was picked up. They communicated in a timely manner. When the problem wasn't fixed in the time they thought, they called immediately and were accommodating in providing a loaner vehicle. One of the days, the gentleman I was working with was off, but they didn't skip a beat. They had someone on his cases and communicating with me. Justin, who picked up and dropped my car was fantastic as well. This is the second time I have been to this dealer and plan on buying my next car here. They are amazing! More

We purchased the car, drove it 120 miles home, parked it in the driveway and it leaked oil. We had our local VW dealer in Madison, Zimbrick, checking out the car and we had repairs of more than $1,500. Wh in the driveway and it leaked oil. When we contacted VW of Downtown Chicago, they were not interested to help out in any way. I would never put a step over their threshold. Even after I contacted upper management, I did not receive a call back. This is the worst dealer I ever encountered. They claimed they checked the car before they sold it. There are only two options: 1. They have a terrible service department that is incompetent 2. or they are not saying the truth. I cannot believe that VW has dealers like VW of Downtown Chicago. More

An appointment was made a relatively short period with an 8 am appointment. All Salespersons and employees were wearing masks. and the work on the car began immediately. Herberto kept me informed and addressed me politely (calling me Ms. Evelyn). When I checked the cost of an Uber ride to my home $48.33, I gasped out and the Rep suggested I just wait to see the disposition of the car inspection. During my wait in the reception area, it was clean and quiet. Upon having to use the restroom it was also very clean ( as if I was the 1st lady to use it that Saturday morning). Herberto secured me a loaner car although the conversations I overheard seemed to make me feel there might not be enough cars or some problem. I was very relieved as Herberto was very patient as I located all needed papers for the loaner car. The service of my vehicle was completed two days earlier than the original estimated time which of course was fine. I would gladly recommend this dealership location as I came waay out of my area for this type of service. More

Poor service, don't return calls We purchased a used Subaru from this dealer in early April. We had just moved to Chicago and needed a car quickly. The sales person Arthur was pleasan We purchased a used Subaru from this dealer in early April. We had just moved to Chicago and needed a car quickly. The sales person Arthur was pleasant and came to show us the car as the dealership was closed with the COVID restrictions. The car had a couple of issues, defective rear door struts and a missing second key. Arthur promised us that they would be resolved quickly and we paid for the services to purchase the car. The few days turned to weeks. Initially, Arthur blamed the delays due to COVID. Upon calling the service manager in mid-May, it turned out the parts had not been ordered. They ordered the struts and fixed the rear door. The dealer also promised to order a new key for which we had paid $200. Since then, they are no longer returning our calls, so we don't have a second key and short the $200 paid up front. More
