Evalauted the problems and scheduled repair. The entrance is quite tricky - you have to make a sharp turn in and out and it is crowded with cars but they have some employees directing customers. The entrance is quite tricky - you have to make a sharp turn in and out and it is crowded with cars but they have some employees directing customers. I was provided a Lyft to get home. When big problems were found, they offered a loaner car. Only issue I had was they initially advised of a problem that I had fixed previously, still under warranty. I had to tell them that I had this done recently. They really should have known that. I could easily have forgotten that. I was also somewhat shocked by the stimate for rear shocks for the car, over $1,200. I declined that as I want to get a comparative estimate first. Communications by text were good and they kept me reasonably informed of what was going on and when I would get the car back.. Overall, a reasonably good experience and I did not have to pay too much out of pocket. More

That wasn't easy in my case - I was upside down on the loan for my trade in, purchasing a 2009 model that was hard to finance and showed up on a busy holiday weekend. It took several visits to figure out the financing and, in the meantime, we realized the car had a broken driver side mirror and needed some TLC detailing. The service team was easy to work with and my sales team covered the services so now I am a very happy owner. I expect to continue working with downtown VW for service going forward. More
