This dealership is the BEST dealership, I ever dealt with !! I purchased a new GTI and Hamid the salesman was very very patient with me last week .He was like a best friend test driving the VW's with. My lea !! I was shopping for a 2011 wild cherry Tiguan 2WD with sandstone interior and the sunroof/navigation package. The car was for my inlaws who were very specific about what they wanted! I took on the job of finding the best price for them. I contacted 30 dealerships through the Internet. Mariko was quick to respond and was never aggressive or annoying...she was always ready and willing to help me find the Tiguan I was looking for. Well, she was able to get it! All other dealers said they could get it, but Santa Monica Volkswagen was the only one able to get it on the lot. Our purchasing experience was wonderful! I will be honest and say there was a issue with the price that came to light AFTER the purchase. The sales department was AWESOME and took the time to hear my concern. A fair solution was quickly and calmly reached, and my inlaws have the car of their dreams. Every situation is different, but I can't tell you enough how important it is to know that even after you sign the contract, the dealership is interested in your satisfaction as a customer. The is TRUE professionalism. If you are in the market for a new or used Volkswagen, I would highly recommend giving Santa Monica Volkswagen a change to earn your business. More

These guys know how to make you feel like a winner without the pushy wanna sell you a car feel. They work with you and your situation to try hard to make your situation fit the VW scale. I goota say I got the CC sport from EDDIE on a late night... a matter of fact the night before Thanksgiving and he stayed with me showing me every detail of the car and it 's amazing features which I totally love. I'm quite sure he had a family to go home too but I didn't and I was feeling a little homesick to be honest and I think he picked that up and give me that extra assurance that "LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT! It might some cheesy but I drove away in my brand new car not only feeling like had a friend at VW but I felt like I had made two new family members out of EDDIE and Cle'ment. Mike and Sean were friendly and showed great customer service. The overall sales experience was great as is the continuing service experience. I ordered a high demand 2010 Golf TDI before it was on the market and paid invoice without having to put down a down payment because Mike Burger recognized that I was a man of my word. Other dealerships (ex: McKenna VW Huntington Beach) lied and said they couldn't be ordered and told be that they would be marking up the price of the TDI's by $1,500! Being that VW Santa Monica is the second largest VW dealership in the US I thought they would receive a larger allotment of Golf TDI's and that it would arrive sooner if ordered from them. Also when I used to own a 1993 VW Corrado SLC (rare VW sports car) other Corrado enthusiasts mentioned that VW Santa Monica had a good service department, so this dealership had already received positive PR from a fellow VW enthusiast. I had taken my old VW Corrado to 3 different VW dealerships (not Santa Monica) and experienced nightmares after the monkeying around on my Corrado was done. So far I am very please with the service I am receiving on my 2010 Golf TDI at Santa Monica. My 2010 Golf TDI had received a scratch on the driver's door while in transit from Germany to Santa Monica. Mike Burger, Sales Manager, was very professional about it and brought it to my attention before I paid for the car in full. The door was repainted at a body shop and looked good as new when I paid for it. Again I am very pleased with this dealership and would recommend them to anyone in the Market for a VW, as would I purchase a VW from them again.. More

I was looking for a 2010 JettaSportswagen TDI with manual transmition and a panoramic sunroof. No one else could find one for me to buy, not VW of Glendale, Downtown, nor even CarsDirect... Vaunte never gave up, as others must have. He found one in Nevada and arranged to have it shipped to Santa Moninica. The shipping cost was mostly offset by the windows already being tinted, as is standard in Nevada. I am very happy to have exactly what I wanted. More
