I completed a purchase of a preowned vehicle that I found online. While the sale went through, everything was fine. My vehicle was with the dealership for approximately 11 days. I hired A transport company t online. While the sale went through, everything was fine. My vehicle was with the dealership for approximately 11 days. I hired A transport company to deliver my vehicle and specifically asked the salesman to ensure the interior be cleaned before the vehicle was loaded for transport. I was obviously assured it would be cleaned once I pressed the salesman to do so after he gave me the run around that it had not gotten cleaned because it was raining. I stated the rain is not an excuse to not clean the interior. I once again was assured it was going to be cleaned. My vehicle was finally delivered and was shocked to find the vehicle did not have any temporary tags, that it has a a deep scratch where paint came off and the interior filthy. It was so upsetting to realize that since I was not present for the pickup, I was not given the same courtesy provided to in person customers. The interior has a funky scent due to lack of cleaning, the carpet has crumbs, dirt, dog hair, stains that were not disclosed and spills and fingerprints everywhere which are very noticeable. I contacted the dealership Immediately and was just being transferred around. A sales manager finally got back to me and after explaining the situation I was told he would get back to me to see what the could do, seriously? I am still waiting for a call back on my temp tags, copies of the vehicle paperwork I signed, my $500 refund for a hold I had placed on the vehicle and a resolution to dissatisfaction of the interior of the vehicle along with the deep scratch to the pant that was never disclosed to me. I would not recommend purchasing from this dealership online/over the phone, as it is obvious that the same customer care is not provided to those who don’t shop on person. More
I brought my vehicle in for a simple tire patch (a nail in the tire) and was told the job would take approximately 40–45 minutes. I arrived around 4:50 PM and agreed to wait at the service lounge. Unfortunately, my experience did not match what was promised. I waited with very little communication and had to repeatedly follow up myself. Around 6:00 PM I was told the vehicle would be ready shortly, but delays continued without clear explanation. I eventually completed payment at around 6:22 PM, but even after checkout I continued waiting. My vehicle was not delivered until approximately 6:50 PM, despite being told it would only take a few minutes after payment. At that point, I went to the service desk to express my frustration. Only then did staff step in because my original advisor had already left. Communication between employees was disorganized, and I felt ignored and not taken seriously. One employee responded in a dismissive manner, which made the situation worse. Eventually, my car was brought out only after escalation and involving management. The sales manager acknowledged my frustration but justified the delay by saying late afternoon is a busy time, which does not align with the original promised completion time. He suggested a specific advisor for future visits, but I made it clear I am not comfortable returning due to both the delay and the overall attitude of the staff. And also When I raised my concerns, instead of addressing the delay properly, I was asked where I am from, which felt irrelevant to the service issue and unprofessional in that context. Overall, this experience showed poor communication, lack of transparency, and weak customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere and reporting this to Toyota headquarters. More

I chose North Austin Toyota as close to my job, to save time. Two hours after arrival, I got my car back. Poor communication at check-in.
