Took my car in for a couple of services such as maintenance. Spend at least $1K. Two weeks after getting my car, I realized they did not fully connect one of the harness in the engine of the car. So I called the service department. The lady pick up the phone and said what is the name of the harness. I replied I do not know. She pretended not to understand what the situation was and refused to let me talk to the manager. The most funniest part is she pretended to transfer the phone to someone else. Then it got hang up. So I called again and thought it was accidentally got disconnected. No one pick up the phone. Call in again. No one pick up the phone. Call in again. Suddenly, a guy picked up and said did you know you called three times. Hello. Obviously I called again bc you guys did not pick up. So I realized they have been hiding and do not want to pick up my phone. Now the worst part is this guy said he is not in the service department when the number is the service department number. So he said someone will call me back and immediately hang up. I will never step in Toyota Direct again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND THEY ACT SO IMMATURE. NOW I REALIZE before they want you to sign the service paper, they are so nice and helpful. Once you picked up the car and they GOT YOUR $$$, good luck in having a good customer service if you have something goes wrong with the service. More
The dealership does not follow through on warranty for new vehicles. They try to charge for everything under warranty and that includes the 2 year maintenance plan. You have to make multiple appointments because the service department doesn't know what they are doing. What is the point of making an appointment if they can't take the vehicle and work on it. Multiple times I was told to make another appointment because they can't fix my vehicle or the technician is not their that day. That is not my problem. They just didn't want to pay for the rental. There isn't any follow through from management either. Should I start with the Service Manager or the General Manager? Service manager doesn't care and doesn't know what is going on in his area of "expertise". Big issues when wanting to speak to the General Manager. Everyone gives you the run around, their corporate headquarters. More
Came in for service on my 2008 Prius. Was talking about trading in our Prius for a new one, thought we would check it out while mine was in service. Found a black Prius 2011-price was right! Had a great ex trading in our Prius for a new one, thought we would check it out while mine was in service. Found a black Prius 2011-price was right! Had a great experience with our salesman, we got what we asked for and was very happy. This has been our second vehicle with this dealership, will continue to buy here again. I travel 50 miles to have my toyota service at this dealship. Great service department and nice customer waiting room. I won't go anywhere else. Thanks Toyota Direct! I have serviced my Corollas at this dealership for ten years and for the first time I have bad service. I think it is due not to the quality of its people but to the fact of being understaffed. The employees are polite and helpful, but, trying to do twenty things while serving the customer. I had to come three times to the dealership to get my ball bearings fixed. One was due to an appointment they wrote down for the incorrect date requested, so when I came in they told me the appointment was written down for Friday rather than Saturday as I had requested in person. The second time they finally looked at my car but did not have the parts. They told me they would call me as soon as the parts arrived for me to make the appointment for them to be installed. They never called. I have to call to find out and they could not find my order because they had entered it incorrectly under my second last name. The dealer is good; its people knowledgeable and polite but overworked, making them distracted when dealing with customers, which results in mistakes and time lost. I am thinking for the first time to give it a try to a toyota dealer closer to my home... More

I've always been brand-loyal to Toyota, but Chris additionally keeps me loyal to Toyota Direct. I trust Chris with my car because he has always been honest, straightforward, and courteous to me. I've been taking my Toyotas to Chris for so long that I feel like he is a friend of mine instead of just my Toyota service-writer. Chris has an uncanny ability to do his job to the benefit of his employers, while also benefitting his customers. He literally creates win-win situations for both sides of the service experience.
