My low air tire light was on & they wanted $375 to fix it. I took it to a tire place & got 2 replaced for $128 incl tax. I needed to leave a 1 star review to hopefully draw some attention to the review. I brought my FJ in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was then informed that my front brake pads were at 3mm recommended attention to the review. I brought my FJ in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was then informed that my front brake pads were at 3mm recommended to have them changed which I agreed to knowing that replacing the brake pads before they got down to the rotors was much cheaper. No cost was provided but I knew they run around $300. I then had a call that the one caliper froze up and had to be replaced and was told that would be around $500. I came to pick up my car and was shocked by an almost $1500 bill! I spoke with Jeremy and he at least honored my coupon for $100 off. I then went out to my car and the lights had been left on and the battery was dead. The porter assisted with a jump. I then turned the heat on and the blower motor is running loud. By this time it was 8pm and they were closed. They also changed my engine and air filter so I assume something was knocked loose during this process. I have not had time to bring it back for that issue to be resolved. Very frustrating. I like to keep my business with Toyota as I am trying to preserve my FJ but I just feel like I am being scammed half the time as I rarely leave with a bill below $500. I feel like as a female I have the word SUCKER written across my forehead. Thanks for the opportunity to send this review. More
I was treated like a princess (in a good way) and, so far, the car is performing well. The issue is the unexpected five hour wait for new tires and rotor repair. Yes, I had an appointment. I was there for almost 6 hours for, what I was told a 3 hour job. Nobody came to explained to me what was going on. After almost 4 hours I finally asked someone what the issue was. I will preface my review by saying my family and I have been a long time customer of this dealership and overtime I have had mixed experiences, however this last one has lost my business. I prepaid for a simple replacement of the handle on my tailgate but had to wait for the part to come in and was told they would call to let me know when it arrived in about a week to ten days. As this is fairly standard, I waited. And never received a phone call. At the end of that time frame, I called in to see if the part had come in yet since I hadn't received a call. I was told on the phone it was there and had been for a couple days. I was a little upset but figured these things happen. When I got there and spoke to the service advisor and mentioned not getting a call he tried to tell me they didn't have my number on file. Which is odd since it prints out on just about every invoice I've received. He "checked their system" and even tried to say someone must have added it after the fact. Well, I've been taking a vehicle there since 2013 and have had the same phone number the whole time, I knew this was false. I don't enjoy being lied to by a service advisor on something as simple as my phone number or their ability to call as I believe that means they would be comfortable lying about something larger. Therefore, I will be visiting other dealerships in the area to have my vehicles repaired in the future. More
