I worked with Chris Thomas and Tom Linnehan for a repair for my Chevy Avalanche. I found Chris to be very knowledgeable and honest. I had a minor issue with my lights and he was able to quickly fix it and didn't even charge me for it! I had another issue that needed to be escalated to GM motors and Tom was most efficient and effective in getting in touch with GM and ensuring that I got the part free of cost despite the fact that my warranty didn't cover it. The people here work hard to help you fix your car, take on responsibility for their actions and also do their best to save you money. I appreciate their dedication, extreme attention to customer service and their immense knowledge of vehicles and how warranties etc. work. I have been going to this service center for 2 years now and am completely satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a reliable and honest service center. Beyond that, ask for Chris - he's great! More
I took our Honda Civic for a State and emissions inspection. I was very vulnerable, sad, and dizzy from meds I am taking since my husband has been killed in a car accident 2 weeks ago. I did not tell anyone there about this, but when I felt a bit dizzy the person doing the paperwork offered me a bagel (which I did not take, but felt so very grateful for her kindness). I am sorry I did not get her name. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends. P.S. The restrooms were spotless, as was the whole place. More
All I have to say about the TeddBritt Chevy Dealership in Sterling is that they are a JOKE! Classic “Bait and Switch” tactic, based on an advertisement received in the mail, promising 125% of NADA trade-in Sterling is that they are a JOKE! Classic “Bait and Switch” tactic, based on an advertisement received in the mail, promising 125% of NADA trade-in value regardless of year, make, model or payoff, is what lured us in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. My wife kept telling me that this deal was too good to be true; however, I thought it might be a good chance to be introduced to the Chevy family. So, from Fredericksburg, we made the two hour hike to Sterling to claim this advertisement and purchase an Equinox. I had contacted the dealership a couple of times, through phone and email, to make sure that this deal was legit. I confirmed with them that based upon the NADA trade-in value, my vehicle was valued as a trade-in somewhere between $24,500 and $27,500 depending on condition. They said it was a reasonable trade-in amount without having inspecting the vehicle. Additionally, we had a guarantee offer from Carmax of $26,000, which further my confidence as to the trade-in value of the vehicle. Our car salesman, Mr. Mas Hill, was very pleasant to deal with. However, it wasn’t until the other man behind the desk relayed that the vehicle was worth $21,000, based on NADA, and that $26,000 included the additional 25% increase. Even though I had previously sent a link to the value of the vehicle from NADA, which they had concluded to be reasonable and with a guarantee offer from Carmax for $26,000, they are now singing a different tone of $21,000. I can assure you that the condition of the vehicle is good. The man behind the desk then increased the offer to $28,000 and proceeded to tell me that he was offering me quote “One heck of a deal” and that I should take it. “One heck of a deal” would be to honor your word (aka, advertisement), but I guess that is too much to ask. That’s a bunch of xx to the tenth degree. Thanks, Chevy, for wasting a beautiful Sunday with my family for your big crock of lies. I should send you an invoice for a tank of gas for having to sit on 95 for a bunch of nothing. As my wife would tell me, “Stay away from Sh__ty Chevy”. Lesson Learned! More

Had my car service for a Service Air Bag light. Shawn called me within a couple of hours and let me know what the problem was and that I also needed rear brakes. I recently had my 2001 Corvette in for routine maintenance and a repair. Customer Service Rep. Sean Wilcox deserves recognition for his overall professionalism and courtesy displayed from my init maintenance and a repair. Customer Service Rep. He was spot on with regard to the cost, the time of delivery, and the special attention to both myself while at the dealership and detail to my prized possesion. He is an exemplary employee and made me feel like a valued customer. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I also had the privilage to meet with Keith Wilbur (my technician). He was also very professional, polite, knowledgable, and spent time explaining the repair and talking about corvettes. I can't begin to express how both of these gentlemen went out of their way to make my visit the best overall experience. Kudo's to Ted Britt Chevrolet!!! I purchased my last two cars at this dealership prior to the business being purchased by Ted Britt. While I felt very comfortable with my salesman (worked with the same person twice), I had horrific experi the business being purchased by Ted Britt. While I felt very comfortable with my salesman (worked with the same person twice), I had horrific experiences with the service department every time I tried to service my car. Consequently, I was reluctant to work with the dealership again when I recently had a warranty issue having to do with a defective ball bearing in my left front wheel. However, my recent experience with Ted Britt Chevrolet was totally different than what I had been subjected to when the company was called Sterling Chevrolet! Initially I dealt with Tom Linnehan who patiently listened to my graphic descriptions of my car issues. He immediately had me work with Dan Boling (Quality Control Manager) who figured out exactly what the problem was during a test drive. Fortunately, the part was in stock, my repair work was covered under my extended warranty and I was out the door in a relatively short period of time. Only to have to return 2 weeks later with a defective tire issue which, again, got the care and attention of Dan Boling only an hour before closing time on a Friday afternoon. Dan actually delayed a dinner appointment with his wife to make sure my car was tended to. Now how's that for service? More
