DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHEVY TO TED BRITT FOR SERVICE! UPDATE: Received a lame voice mail at 10:30 am from Brent at Ted Britt Chevrolet stating "Sorry I was not able to make it at 8 am this morning, was h UPDATE: Received a lame voice mail at 10:30 am from Brent at Ted Britt Chevrolet stating "Sorry I was not able to make it at 8 am this morning, was here by 9. Had an emergency late night/early morning, first time I could get away so give me a call. Would like talk to you and schedule all this. Normally don't work on Saturday. Monday is my last day." So, when the Business Manager routinely responds to these Yelp reviews saying "Customer service is our top priority at Ted Britt", clearly this is NOT true! Now I understand why Ted Britt has only a 74% customer service rating on DealerRater.com and doesn't even show up on the top 12 list for my zip code! #################################################### I made an 8 am appointment for this morning, Saturday, 11/28/15, with the Ted Britt Service Manager/Sterling, Brent Anderson, early this week since the service rep I was trying to deal with was talking in circles. The purpose of the appointment was to work on a Chevy Malibu 2011 recall notice I received from GM (seat belt issue) and to have other service done on my car. (This is the 2nd Chevy I have purchased from this dealer.) I got up at 5:30 am and arrived at 7:55 am, was the first person there and asked to speak to Brent. I spoke to someone named Spencer (who had a hard time explaining his role...something about being the coordinator between sales and service) told me that Brent doesn't work on Saturdays and that, as of Monday, Brent does work there anymore. I told Spencer that my appointment was with Brent and I wanted to know where he was. Spencer said he didn't have Brent's cell phone number but would speak with Jason, the General Manager of Ted Britt Chevy in Sterling. Spencer disappeared for 5 minutes, came back and said that Jason was trying to reach Brent. I was getting irritated since it was already 8:15 am and I explained to Spencer that I was already on the edge of never purchasing any more Chevys and that he was helping me make up my mind. Spencer's reply was "there's nothing I can do". My response was that if there was nothing he could do and he is supposed to be the coordinator between sales and service that he was in the wrong job. Spencer disappeared again to go talk to Jason. (Please note that Spencer NEVER apologized for the inconvenience or offered to deal with my service issues!) While Spencer was gone the 2nd time, a female service rep came up to me, asked for my keys since she wanted to move my car. I refused to give her my keys and, instead, got my things, took the plastic and foot paper out of my car and drove off. DO NOT...and I repeat...DO NOT even consider taking your car into this dealership for any kind of service (even GM recalls). I dealt with this dealership when they were Sterling Chevrolet and ever since they were purchased by Ted Britt, dealing with them has been horrific! Unless you're someone who enjoys being handled completely unprofessionally (especially if you're a woman), do your research and find an automotive repair company who actually knows what they're doing and cares about their customers. More

Then when we were ready he was flexible and helped in every aspect to make the buying experience as easy as possible and helped us through the setup of the car systems. The dealership also worked with us to get us the value for our trade-in that made sense. Overall a great experience! We also had our small dog with us and Hook and the team we very nice to him and allowed us to get through the process in good time. Thanks Hook, Jim Rubin and team! More
Mas Hill was wonderful!! Mas helped me feel comfortable buying my first SUV, and buying a car the first time by myself. He was patient and clear and very friendly. Worst buying experience ever! I contacted salesperson (Hook) last month as I wanted to stop in to see a specific Chev LTZ vehicle I found on their website. I had reviewed internet listing and price offers of other dealers in area for same exact car. They said I had to come in to receive their best competitive price - Right....... Traveled over one hour to get there to take test drive. Car was exactly what I wanted, but when I asked to get a price, the Sale's Manager (Angel) said he would provide me with their best price only if I was willing to buy that day or leave a deposit. I told him, I could not as I wanted to bring my wife to see the car first. I said I would still like to have their best offer as I had pricing from other dealers. He told me to give him the other dealer prices and that they would probably change it when I went back. I felt it important Ted Britt give me their best offer without me sharing information I had gotten from other dealers. They begrudgingly made me and offer but made me wait for over an hour. During that time the salesman left me and went to dinner. I was finally confronted by Angel who told me it would cost me over $100/month more then Country and Manassas Chevrolet's offers I got over the phone and by going to their dealerships without any of the hassle or trying to make me stay at the dealership. I told Angel that there had to be something wrong with the price, but he retorted, "go speak to the Salesman and work it out with him". I left. Next day I went to Country Chevrolet as they had the exact car in stock and purchased the car. They lived up to everything we discussed and held the car for a week as sold until I could get my wife to see the car. From my stand point, Ted Britt provided me with one of the worst customer sale's experiences I have had in buying a new car. Being I lease/upgrade my car every 3 years, they are the one's that make buying a new car like going to the dentist - painful. PS - never got a follow up phone call from the salesperson as to why I left before he got back from dinner. More

I have never had a deal go so smoothly or quickly from selecting the vehicle to signing the papers in 20 years of buying cars. I have already started spreading the word with my friends and coworkers, all of whom love my new car. I cannot say thank you enough. This is my first brand new car and I am having a great time driving my 2015 Chevy Trax. More

I was able to get what I consider a very good deal on a new loaded 2015 Volt. My salesman, Mas Hill, knew the features of the volt which is refreshing compared to other Chevy dealers I have visited. As requested I was picked up at the local Metro right on time. The entire purchasing process took about three hours. I did have prepared financing which saved some paperwork. Overall, an honest dealer who treated me fair. Ensure you do your homework before going into any dealer to save yourself some money. More

Ted Britt 4life Was looking for a car while visiting in Texas with my wife, I came across an internet "SPECIAL" that was quite the deal at Ted Britt Chevrolet in Ste Was looking for a car while visiting in Texas with my wife, I came across an internet "SPECIAL" that was quite the deal at Ted Britt Chevrolet in Sterling,VA. Amazing you can shop for a car halfway across the country while on vacation! Set up an appointment with Hook Pagnotta to see it and it was a done deal. Easy as 1-2-3! As I hadn't bought a ride in over a decade I was a little nervous admittedly however Hook assured me that we would get'er done and drove off with a brand new Camaro! Kudos to Paola and Omar for such a pleasant experience as well. Hats off to the Ted Britt for Life program which has many added benefits for the customer such as free oil changes for the first two years.....wow!!! Thanks Guys! More
