Today morning, while I was providing them the basic information, I found out I have to come with my wife since she needs to sign the paper. So, this afternoon, when I was driving back to the dealer with my wife, the sales rep text me that he ran my credit, without my permission, and the credit inquiry was declined since the credit was locked. I have Experian to secure my family credit since there are so many scam. the credit inquiry must be done when my credit is ublocked but this guys did without letting me know and permission. anyway, I called back BMW Financial services and went thru teh verification, the credit is approved for new Mini that my wife liked. After I finalized with Sales Rep, the lady from finacial Dept, told me there is Red Flag on file and asked same question that BMW financial asked. Why? Dealer is not a finacial aid. and Guess what? They requested my wife's finger print who has 879 Credit score. Am i getting the citizensip? When I told them she cannot give her live scan and they reruired me a copy of my passport. This is Joke!. I never asked from any dealer for my finger print and US passport. I currently have Coachman Galleria Class B, BMW X3 M40i, and RAM 1500 Limited and never had this experiance. I think South Bay BMW wants to be a goverment! Like Joe Biden! Don't release your live scan! Sales Rep was friendly, but not this lady, Katrina De Los Reyes in the financial dept. She told me she has been collecting the finger print for past 4 years eversince she worked with South Bay BMW. Do you really want to get a Mini even if you release your live scan or finger print? Cars are everywhere and I can get it anywhere. More
I had been working with Eddie Ramos (sales) for 3 months. I was disappointed and concerned he would not get credit and I'd have to start over. I obviously had no reason for concern. I now have only the highest of praise for Stephen (sales), Mario ("BMW genius") and Mike (finance). Bought 2-door i8 yesterday, Stephen will show me some 4-door cars today. Another gentleman was there on a few different occasions to congratulate me, preparing me for all the attention I will get driving my new spaceship. On top of all that, I went in expecting to buy a 2020 M8 for $135,000 and ended up buying an i8 for only $115,000. The i8a is a 2019 that was sold just a year ago for $165,000. That is a 30% discount on a 1-year old car with only 11,000 miles on it. And it is a hybrid, which I hadn't even considered being available on cars that can go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds. Amazing! I might never buy a car anywhere else. Well, maybe once my driveway starts to look like a BMW showroom. MAYBE then I'll buy a different model. More

been shopping for an M8 for the past 90 days as i patiently awaited for my M6 lease to mature... unfortunately, the M8's have not been selling well. Sad, as i am a huge BMW fan. Ive gotten some very attractive quotes from other dealers , before i pull the trigger, prudence demands that i check other dealers inventory, South bay has close to what I'm looking for. i called today and wasted no time to let the salesman know what i had been quoted, he laughed and said they would not go that low and hung up.. im not sure if that was his decision or if hes been instructed to fend off prudent car buyers... in any case, most dealers selling any autos want to get rid of one year old inventory.. just thought i should share More
DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was told by phone there would be a courtesy car available, provided I arrived here in the morning. I spent half an hour driving to this location and arrived for my 8 am appointment. My vehicle required scheduled maintenance which BMW handsomely reimburses the dealership for. After checking in, I was told I would not receive a loaner car because I did not originally purchase my vehicle from McKenna South Bay BMW. Wasted 1.5 hours of my life (round trip) with this poor communication of a poor policy. There was an entire fleet of courtesy cars waiting and available yet they chose not to provide one. I just scheduled a service appointment with Long Beach BMW for tomorrow morning, who confirmed they will provide a courtesy car even if I didn’t purchase my car there. Dealers get subsidies and incentives from BMW for providing courtesy cars to customers, so clearly they are raking in that corporate money inconsistent with the intent of the program. This dealership has gone downhill from its previous owner. More
