Ray Chevrolet has been, hands down , my go to for purchases and repairs for the last 16 years. I've not only been to many dealerships in Illinois but i have also worked in a couple. The proffesiona purchases and repairs for the last 16 years. I've not only been to many dealerships in Illinois but i have also worked in a couple. The proffesionalism in sales and service plus the knowledgeable service technicians all add to a positive experience. The only negative about this dealer is the dollar amount on the coupons has dwindled. For instance an oil change coupon today is only $5 off while tech hourly prices have gone up. 5 years ago the oil change coupon was $10 off and tech hourly prices were lower. So really your pretty much getting penneys off. More
Always happy with with the cars that I bought, but customer service really suck when you have to l argue with a manager about what’s going on with your car so going back maybe there’s more place where customer service really suck when you have to l argue with a manager about what’s going on with your car so going back maybe there’s more place where I can go to fix my car More

They did a great job, but it took longer than was planed. I also have to bring it back for a part they did not have in stock. I also have to bring it back for a part they did not have in stock. More
Sales department is top notch but the Service department lacks communication and accountability. I've never had a smooth experience at Ray Chevrolet since buying my vehicle. From them denting my quarter pan lacks communication and accountability. I've never had a smooth experience at Ray Chevrolet since buying my vehicle. From them denting my quarter panel while my car was in their shop (they did fix the dent) to them not respecting the customer's time and sticking to a schedule. This past occasion I scheduled out my service two weeks in advance and was told by Liz Frohling that they would have a loaner car ready for me and I would be in/out within 10-15 min. Well, I was stuck waiting for that loaner which in fact wasn't ready for 1 hour 40 min. I worked with TJ Burke who is emotionless and when I voiced my displeasure about the wait after being there over an hour, TJ stated to me "Don't blame me because a 3rd party company (hertz) is taking their time to get here with your rental." Excuse me, What? Then what is the point of scheduling two weeks out? The service departments solution was to kick me out the service center and have me wait outside for Hertz. No apology, no empathy and completely unprofessional. If you don't like your job or dealing with frustrated customers then find a new career. I generally believe that most people there have good intentions but it seems to me that the dealership is too small for the amount of service they bring in. Try calling and speaking to service manager and I guarantee you'll hear "She's really busy right now, can you leave a message?" Then they won't call back for days. Thanks to Ray I missed a very important work meeting which is why I scheduled the service two weeks out to be sure I'd be home in time. Be better! More
