I regret that your experience with the dealership and particularly with me (Russ Williams) failed to meet your expectations. I have been in the car business for nearly 26 years. My customer's experiences and satisfaction are my reputation. Without return and referred happy customers, I simply could not survive in this business. I want to assure you that I do everything within my power to provide a world class buying experience for my customers. To address your particular concerns we really should set the record straight here. Mr. Franklin had offered you an amazing deal the previous day. When I followed up with you the next day, you made an offer that was substantially lower. I told you that you were not close to a deal, however if you would make an offer that was at least half way between our discounted price and your offer, I would present it to my Sales Manager. I am a Sales Consultant. I do not have authority to accept offers. Your offer was simply not accepted. Mr. Franklin did reiterate that he had offered you an amazing deal the previous day. I called you immediately to save you the long drive down if you were expecting further discounts. Again I apologize for your perception of the events that transpired. I know that this was the first time you had attempted to negotiate a car deal on your own. I should have done a better job of explaining the realities of a vehicle purchase. Sincerely, Russ Williams
