I came in to the Dealer with the idea of finding a good used truck for a decent price, Quinn was prompt, concise and not only showed me several options but assisted in the transition from my old truck to ev used truck for a decent price, Quinn was prompt, concise and not only showed me several options but assisted in the transition from my old truck to eventually buying the new one I have now. I explained that i have an aversion to pushy salespeople, he was more than able to put me at ease with my decision to buy the truck, it had a couple of issues and they were very prompt to assure me that they will be addresses at NO COST to me. I would most definitely recommend them if for only the courteous and exemplary manner that was afforded to me through out the entire transaction. Thanks again to Pete Franklin and his staff, if they hold true to their promise to make the necessary repairs I most definitely look to them for future purchases. More

I was suckered in to buying a car I could not afford, the general manager lied to the bank about my income so that I could get the loan and said it was just between us. Then when three days later I realized general manager lied to the bank about my income so that I could get the loan and said it was just between us. Then when three days later I realized the back door was not locking and unlocking with the button I called and they told me to bring it in just to tell me it would cost me 460.00 to fix. I called the manager to tell him I wasn't happy and he preceeded to tell me to bring the vehicle back and he didn't need my business cause he only made 500 on the sale and that the car I traded in would no longer run so he didn't want it anyway. I had been shopping online for cars for a while. Already had in mind what car I was looking for plus, I was already approved thru my bank to get a loan. I bought a car 2 months ago from best cars kc… it a had in mind what car I was looking for plus, I was already approved thru my bank to get a loan. I bought a car 2 months ago from best cars kc… it appeared they had the inventory I was looking for. Right away I was helped by a car salesman Tony, which I told him what I was looking for and he showed me a few Suv’s plus another car they just got in that day. The salesperson told me he could possibly offer me a better rate since I had A+ credit . Bryant the General manager was super nice ran my credit and was able to get me a 3% percent rate vs. my bank at 5.25% that allowed me to go up in my price range. When it was all said in done I got $4,000 back on my old car that another dealer quoted a buy back of a grand…. The customer service was great, I was very happy with my car. I saved over $6k off the car I bought and with a 5yr. warranty. I was very pleased I don’t think any other dealer could have matched what they offered me. I also went in last week for an oil change and the service department was quick and friendly. More
My wife and I were suckered into coming to this dealer after hearing an ad on the radio for "$4000 minimum trade in for anything you can push/pull/tow in, plus an additional $3500 cash back". Sounded lik after hearing an ad on the radio for "$4000 minimum trade in for anything you can push/pull/tow in, plus an additional $3500 cash back". Sounded like a deal we couldn't refuse, right? I even called ahead of time on Wednesday and asked what the restrictions were to this "deal". The sales man replied with "bring your trade in and we'll give you 4,000 plus 3500 cash back for whatever you want.". I said "that's it, no catch?" and he replied with "that's it". So Saturday we drove my wife's van an hour to Franklin's. We met with Ernest, who took our information. We informed him we were looking for a fuel efficient, reliable AFFORDABLE sedan. We sat at his desk for over an hour while the dealership searched for a lender... We hadn't even looked at any cars to this point. Now our credit isn't very good, but I've had no problems in the past getting loans for vehicles around $8,000, which is about the price we were looking for. Finally he tells us he has a deal we will love, and starts running around, getting keys and a vehicle ready. He sends us for a test drive in a 2011 Ford Fusion. All the while I asked what terms are we looking at, price, etc. He refused to give an honest answer, just vague nonsense like "we'll make it happen". So we test drove it. I then picked his brain and told him I saw this exact car on their website for $17,000. Finally he talked numerical values and said that wasn't right, it was actually $15,000. I immediately knew this was out of our range, and was actually interested in several $10,000 vehicles that I had seen online. But I wanted to see the terms of the Fusion... 30 minutes later he had a "great offer for us" (according to him), which included a $470 a month payment, $750 down on top of our trade in, which they were now offering $1900 for. He gave some lame excuse about why the $4000 minimum trade and $3500 cash back couldn't be done. I said that was why I was here, and that the Fusion wouldn't work for us, because of the cost. I was disappointed about the false advertising, but still expressed interest in a cheaper, more affordable vehicle. He quickly said, "no, we had one shot at this and this is all we can offer". At that point I left, angry. 2 1/2 hours of my Saturday wasted, having been lied to and jerked around by this SHAMEFUL business. They tried to force us into one of their most expensive cars in stock for the type of vehicle we wanted, while removing the $7500 in incentives that THEY ADVERTISED, and refused to work with me on any other vehicle. I will never go back, and I will inform everyone that inquires about buying a vehicle to stay away from anything associated with Pete Franklin. Dishonest, vague, and shameful business practices. Pete Franklin is a perfect example of what's wrong with our country today. Honesty and trust used to mean something. Not with them. Avoid them, unless you like being lied to and disrespected. More
