This place is a JOKE!! So they send a salesman out to jump in front of your car and get you out. Then before you can even look at a car they ask you to come in and "register" which is code for fill out a jump in front of your car and get you out. Then before you can even look at a car they ask you to come in and "register" which is code for fill out a credit app. I should have seen how poor the place was and walked but I didn't. So they got my credit pulled and then after I threatened to get up and leave they gave my salesman Matt the keys to the truck I was asking about. We drove it and I really did love the vehicle. I decided I was going to buy it but I played out the part to see if I could get a better deal. Matt came back from the desk after talking to Pete and Rob with some figures they were offering me. On my trade in "02 Dodge Ram 98k miles" they offered $2000! WHAT are you CRAZY. I said absolutely NO and was also asked what I wanted my payment to be. I said $400 Matt said $425 "a trick they use" and I said sure. They came back and offered me the truck at $500 for 72 months. That is AFTER my trade in which I owe NOTHING on. I used my calculator and it showed a total payout of $36,000 plus my truck on a truck they are asking $27k for. I made a counter offer and Matt walked it to the counter. I could hear Pete say "get his xxx out of here, xxxx him I don't need this xxxx". Matt came back and was kindly trying to say we weren't going to get a deal when Rob came over and told me to scram. I am GLAD I didn't buy a vehicle here. My truck books at $9,000 and the truck I looked at books at $21k. They almost had me for $13,000!! DON'T BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS SCAM ARTIST. Instead go to cars.com or somewhere you won't get taken! More
I purchased a 2011 Nissan Versa in late 09/12 from this dealership. First Versa was black one. It had body damage that this dealership would not fix because they said they wouldn't make profit off of it. S dealership. First Versa was black one. It had body damage that this dealership would not fix because they said they wouldn't make profit off of it. So they offered me a white Nissan Versa which I accepted. Now I am admit my credit isn't the best and I have had some bumps in it. My husband has excellent credit (lucky him.) So we went to the dealership when they had their flier in the mail that everyone receives a prize if they bring the flier in. Haha turns out I won a cheap $ 1.00 lottery ticket. Seriously that's my prize? Ok won't complain on that part no more. Everything looked good. I was having my husband as a co-signer. They processed everything said it looked good that we could get a loan in both our names. They overcharge the price of the Versa. The Versa is worth about $ 11,000. They refused to give me even a general price of the car till we where in the middle of signing. I about fell over when they told me the price of the car was $15,000. But the interest was going to be cheap and payments where to be about $215 a month which isn't bad with 7% interest (due to my bad credit.) I traded in my old SUV to them. I was a bit leary about the price but went ahead and chose to purchase it. The next day they called me and told me that the bank wouldn't finance us because of me. So they found another bank with the payments now that jumped up to $250. They told me there no way that I could be on the loan. I spoke with my husband and he agreed for the time being that he just go ahead and put his name on the loan only. We didn't like that idea much but agreed. Then the bank they chose called my husband and he told them about me. (Of course he would that way they knew I would be driving it.) We didn't do this to be dishonest but turns out even if your husband gets a car in his name you are not suppose to drive it unless you are on the loan. So then they call this dealership and told them they wouldn't finance us. This made the dealership have to look to get the loan through another bank. Turns out my husband had through the first bank that told us no because of me. The payments then jumped to $321!!! Stupid me I went ahead and kept it. I get a call from Best Cars KC saying that they wanted to buy my car back. They have a so-called shortage of Versa since they are such a great car. We needed to get a better interest rate and lower payments. So we went to see if they could switch us out to another car that would be in my name they said that they could if I put $3,000 dollars down up front. xxx?? They didn't really want to help us. They just wanted to get us into another loan so they could make another sale off of us. I am so mad at this place!!! What a scam call someone to say we want to buy your car back and they wont buy it back unless we refinance with them again. I went to another dealership tonight and get this... On my own I am qualified for up to $ 17,000 towards a car. I will be making $275 a month in payments. My interest is high I wont lie but my payments lowered and I can get it in my name which will help rebuild my credit. That was my main goal at Best Cars KC to get a car in my name to get my credit re-established. So explain to me how Best Car's KC cant get me a car in my name without $3,000 down and this other car dealership has no problems with getting me a car loan??? BTW I am getting a 2011 Honda Civic with 30,000 miles on it. So the car I am getting isn't a piece of crap. Oh and the car is being sold to me at the price it is worth not an extra $3,000 on top of average resale price. I went to Best Cars KC because I read good reviews about them. The only thing good from them was the car itself. Everything else about this place is a scam!!! Oh also three months later there wasn't ONE employee that was there in December that was there in late September. That even includes the guy who does the financing. What does that say about the place???? More
