I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Patrick Hyundai’s service department. My car was dropped off on Friday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m., and I wasn’t able to pick it up until 5:00 p.m. on July 20 Hyundai’s service department. My car was dropped off on Friday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m., and I wasn’t able to pick it up until 5:00 p.m. on July 20. Throughout the entire process, communication was almost nonexistent. I constantly had to call for updates because no one reached out to keep me informed. The service department never answered the phone, I had to leave a voicemail every single time. On the very first day, I didn’t receive a single call to explain what was happening with my vehicle or even to let me know it would be staying there. I didn’t receive any information until Sunday, when I finally spoke with Peter Rybacki. To make matters worse, I was told that my service advisor, Tyler Schulz, was going to be on vacation, yet I was still assigned to him, which likely contributed to the lack of communication and delays. I did not speak to him once on the phone or when I got to the dealership to pick up my vehicle. It would have been nice if he explained what the problem with my vehicle was and the process. I will say, Erik Favela, who was not my advisor was more helpful and explained what they were going to do with my vehicle after I asked. For days, I was repeatedly told they were just “running tests,” with very little explanation or indication of any progress. Then, when I arrived on Monday after being told to pick up my vehicle, Peter said, “I don’t think I called you,” and acted as if he hadn’t been the one who told me to come in. He stepped away for a moment, then came back and said, “Coincidentally, your vehicle is done. Give me five minutes to finish.” I was then asked to wait in the waiting room, but it ended up taking much longer than five minutes. The entire experience felt disorganized, slow, and frustrating. I understand that diagnosing vehicle issues can take time, but keeping customers informed should be a basic part of good customer service. I expected much better communication and professionalism from this dealership. Unfortunately, this experience left me with very little confidence in their service department or its management. More
Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Eric was very nice to work with while there. Eric was very nice to work with while there. More
