Yes Best Buy at Open Road – I was looking to lease a 2012 Honda Odyssey and went to several dealerships in NJ and also received price quotes from dealerships outside NJ. Every person here was extremely helpful and from the moment we stepped in the dealership it seemed like they are ready to offer what we need as much as they could and not just interested in selling the car. I had read and heard bad reviews of this dealership and was actually skeptical about even entering the dealership. But then it did not hurt to find out what they had to offer and I could always walk out. I was surprised when they actually spent 2 hours with us after they had closed for the day trying to make a deal. I was actually confused at a point whether I should buy or lease but one of the leasing managers explained to me the pricing , pros and cons of leasing vs buying and left the decision to me. Though it was very late at night they showed no hurry to pack up or force me into a deal. It took several days till we reached an agreement and they always showed eagerness to make a deal and were very courteous in behavior unlike another dealership who not only bad mouthed other dealerships but showed no interest in customer needs but only wanted to make their profits. After the deal was made there was some miscommunication which they rectified and actually compensated us for the same. At every point we saw the interest in satisfying a customer need and not just trying to make a deal. They were very honest in telling us that they wanted to be the #1 volume dealer in the US and had actually achieved the objective and would try their level best to negotiate a deal and they actually did put in every effort. At no point they said “Take it or leave it” or let the negotiation fail. At another dealership the salesman told us how Open Road will offer low prices to bring you into the dealership and then charge us items that no other dealership charges or very high documentation fees and other items or trick us into various other financing and maintenance options or actually force us into those for giving that low price. We actually found that Open Road documentation fee was actually lesser than this other dealership and did not charge us for any other items that the other salesman mentioned. You can be assured that they are very honest and will offer you the best price and car buying experience. More
A couple of weeks ago, I went to Open Road Honda to get new rear brakes for my 2009 Honda Accord. The brakes the were on the car before were defective. Honda was giving $150 back for the brakes but the dea new rear brakes for my 2009 Honda Accord. The brakes the were on the car before were defective. Honda was giving $150 back for the brakes but the dealer was charging over $200. Open Road Honda accepts any competitor coupon but, when I showed them Hamilton Honda's $99 brakes coupon, Adam said alright, this is good but let me just confirm it with my manager. When he went in a gave the coupon, both Adam and Mike went into the room and told him something. Then immediately Neil Wood, the service manager came out and said no. He said they were losing money with this coupon. They clearly stated they will accept any coupon. But, Adam and Mike told him something so he didn't accept the coupon. He wouldn't even speak to me about the coupon, he just went back in his office and refused to come back out and speak to me. The ENTIRE service department is rude, disrespectful and just wants the customers money. After that, I went to the Sales Manager, Hasan and told him what happened. He was friendly and talked to Adam, and made the price $20 cheaper. But still I paid the money and got out of the dealer after the car had new brakes. After a couple days, I called the main Open Road Auto Group office and spoke to someone about this issue and they offered me the difference of the price I said and the coupon. After that, when I called in for service for my car, they said my family wasn't welcome at the dealer and I wasn't allowed to bring any of my cars their. So, I called Michael Morais, the COO of the company, he said if I ever step into the dealer again, they will call the police and get me arrested. I was banned from this dealer because of a arguement I had with the service manager. This is stupid because they didn't ban me when the actual situation happened, they banned me when I got the difference of the money. I tried to get in contact with every single president and executive of the company, but they all refuse to change their decision. I have contacted many companies such as FCC Consumer Affairs and the BBB, but this is now all up to the COO, Michael Morais. Also, they broke my front drivers seat, the headrest is lose and they didn't fix it properly the first time. Do not visit this dealer for sales or service. You are better of going to another dealer with better service. This dealer discriminates against Indian people. They want their money from service and new cars, but they do not want to give them good service. More

After having my CR-V serviced I noticed that the volume on my car radio was turned all the way up. I didn't think much of it until later in the day when it seemed that every song playing was not quite righ on my car radio was turned all the way up. I didn't think much of it until later in the day when it seemed that every song playing was not quite right, Turns out one of the speakers was blown. I brought the car back to Open Road and was treated like someone who was trying to get one over on them. Rude doesn't begin to describe them. I'm not going to waste any more of my day describing all that ensued. Suffice to say that I will never go there again and I strongly advise everyone out there to steer clear as well. More

Overall it was a good experience at this dealership. I guess the person who you deal with is also important. I ran into Mr. Ramon and he took good care of me. He didn't force me for anything. I had very good experience with Open Road Honda. I bought 2011 Honda Accord EX-L from Open Road Honda Edison. I was dealing with Sales Person Ramon Diaz, he was a very nice & helping fellow. He worked with 2011 Honda Accord EX-L from Open Road Honda Edison. I was dealing with Sales Person Ramon Diaz, he was a very nice & helping fellow. He worked with us through out the deal and after the the car purchase also. Pros : They have lots of car in inventory. Their prices before tax were the most reasonable among all the dealers I have shopped around. Cons: They have high documentation fees & they charge 75$ to the customer before handing over the key (for cleaning & removing other stuff). Overall I was satisfied with my deal with them & I recommend them. More
The most disorganized and rude sales team I have come across. I bought a used Honda Pilot, the deal was good among all dealership for the exact vehcile I wanted and this dealership was relatively close across. I bought a used Honda Pilot, the deal was good among all dealership for the exact vehcile I wanted and this dealership was relatively close to my home. During the negotiation, like any car salesman, everyone was good. But once I signed the papers and put the deposit, they say that only one set of key is available. On the day I put down a deposit, I checked the vehicle's audio system, the CD was not working, it was repaired. Then, after 5 days, when I went to pay the balance in cash and take delivery, I checked the vehicle again, this time the front floor mats were missing, they promised they will have it wehn I come in 2 weeks for the permanent plates. Well no one called me for 3 weeks if the plates were ready, after following up, I was told by Frank (as konstantin the original sales guy never responded to my messages and said later I should have called his cell)....anyways, I have to finally complain to Mr. Morais the Open Road COO and then things rolled down and started getting done, I got the plates on the day the temporary plates expired, with an explanation that there was some delay at the NJMVC.... Well, lesson learnt.....do business with Hamilton Honda, they are the best at least so far as of Aug 2011...... More
