I was originally shopping for a (then) newly released Ford Fusion Titanium but couldn't get a dealership to sell me one a few hundred bucks above invoice. I've bought plenty of Fords below invoice so it must have been because this precious gem was new. Or something. I considered another similar car, Japanese. About two years ago, I had sold my dream car, 1972 Mercedes. I think all of my family and relatives are Mercedes people, and in this way (and maybe one or two more) I was always the black sheep, driving plain people cars! So I shopped around a few dealerships, both online and in person. I was unsuccessful either way. As a last ditch effort, I threw one in left field to Thousand Oaks MB and got an e-response from Marian. From start to finish, she was excellent with email and phone-tag. She gave me a great price, information, and a no-nonsense attitude I love yet is so rare. I've referred a few people her way and she has earned other peoples business as well. Now, in regards to...the car I got...or maybe even the dealership...I got a lemon. I did a lot of the work myself on the 72 280SEL I mentioned earlier and I have plenty of pay hours under my belt turning wrenches for a living (and then some). I like the specific car I bought for many reasons but it's had some serious warranty issues. And none of the dealerships have to this day fixed a thing. It's truly mind boggling but since I never came to this dealership for any of the problems (too far from where I live) and I have been in contact with MB Corporate, I will not hold it against the dealership. I don't know where or when the damage occurred but I am convinced the two warranty issues are related, especially based on the technical information provided (its not even repairable? They should buy the car back then!) Again, I'm not sure if something happened in the factory, or at the dealership before the sale, or in between, but since I don't know this review and my rating is for my sales experience only. More
I just bought my second car from Marian and she makes it so easy. I love the deal I got and working with her was a pleasure. She delivered what I wanted with out pressure and in the time I needed it. We bought a Volvo XC90 from Silver Star and the Salesman Greg Jarvis confirmed the car had not been in any accidents. The 1st time we took it to a Volvo dealership they showed us where it had been in a fron Greg Jarvis confirmed the car had not been in any accidents. The 1st time we took it to a Volvo dealership they showed us where it had been in a front end accident - paint on hood and fenders not matching, paint on the bolts on the fenders was not matched up meaning they were removed and painted. We are very angry and called Greg and his response was "We paint all our bumpers." Phil Garret from an outside Customer Satisfaction company has called me 3 times and each time I've explained and re-explained everything in detail, and have been told someone would contact me. We have left messages with Bill Little the GM and Susan Murata and neither have called back. It is a serious legal issue that Silver Star is selling cars that have been in accidents, and lying to customers in order to sell them. I'm now in contact Scott Stanley the new GM to see what Silver Star is going to do about it. More
We were looking for a lease / buy on a C300. After a frustrating experience with another Mercedes competitor I wasn't certain if the next dealer would be the same. Silver Star made this extremely convenient over the phone. I spoke with Russell S. who took the details of what we were looking for and passed them on to his supervisor Greg Jarvis. Greg was "on it" I had a phone call back in a couple of days with a CPO C300 that fit our needs. The paperwork was ready, I was given my expected trade in amount and took delivery of the car. Most impressive was at the walk around there was a few flaws around the car that were immediately noted by Greg, he wanted these things taken care of for me. Silver Star sent someone with a loaner to my wife in Santa Clarita (55 miles) addressed all issues within a week and delivered it back to her. Best in class service was give, everything that was promised was handled accordingly. I was treated like a VIP throughout the whole process. I would refer and will use this company without hesitation. More
Greg Jarvis hands down provided me with most pleasurable car buying experience I've had in at least the last three or four vehicles I've owned. As a consumer armed with this additional information on these products and others I found making a decision on a vehicle Much easier and streamlined than past experiences. Not only will I return to this dealership and sing their praise, I would purchase a vehicle from Mr. Jarvis at this or another dealership if he were not at Silver Star. More

I did not think Mercedes Benz was in our price range. A friend of our said to go check out the deals they had going on. We looked at Kia & Hyundai. When the Mercedes came in cheaper than the Kia and Hyun friend of our said to go check out the deals they had going on. We looked at Kia & Hyundai. When the Mercedes came in cheaper than the Kia and Hyundai per month it was a no brainer. Greg was great in helping us through the process and getting the best deal possible and the car we liked. The experience was so great that a week later we bought another car from Greg at one of the other Silverstar dealerships. More
