I went to this dealer for a new car (2008 Civic SI Sedan) and was generally happy with the experience. Going to buy a car, whether new or used, is always a very stressful proposition, and this was no differ and was generally happy with the experience. Going to buy a car, whether new or used, is always a very stressful proposition, and this was no different. I went to this dealership in Newton, MA because my girlfriend and her family are close personal friends with the owner and have purchased several cars from them over the years. I was referred to them, and as a result my girlfriend got a $200 American Express gift card which was great. My sales representative was David Avery, and he like any salesperson could be a little pushy, but that was expected. Although I have to say, David was probably the most genial salesman I've worked with and can say that he was a genuinely nice guy. I traded in my old 2005 Civic LX Special edition, and they gave me a very good price for it, and also came down on the price of the leftover 2008 SI, so I am pretty happy with the purchase numbers, but it took more than a little haggling. I had good leverage concerning the personal relationship my girlfriend's dad had with the owner, and so that helped on that end but regardless of that, they are still in the business of making money despite what they might say. Overall, I can say that Honda Village was the best Honda dealership I've ever been to, in terms of friendliness and professionalism. But beware, all car dealerships are there primarily to make money, and one should go in with that mentality. More

I yesterday bought a used Honda CR-V from Honda Village. I found the price posted in their website was good. I called them and checked for the availability of the same. When I reached the showroom and met James, the sales manager and he introduced Edgar as the sales person to further the process. Edgar was a very nice guy, treated us with respect and friendly. I test drove the vehicle and I liked it. He mentioned all the details and showed me the carfax and other maintenance records of the car. We sat in the sales cabin started arriving at the details and even while bargaining for my price range, he was very cool and professional. To complete the negotiation Edgar got James to the table and we finalized the deal. The experience was totally cool and I never felt any kind of pressure or cheap tactics basically associated with a car purchase. No additional add-ons forced on us after the price is finalized. Signed the basic papers required to agree on the purchase and then worked with the finance department. Since the financing is not as I expected, I said to the finance manager Ival that I will do that on my own, he said no problem and gave me the details required. I arranged my own loan and he was more than happy to complete the purchase without any issues. Though I did not finance with them, Ival gave me a good deal for the extended warranty. The total experience was really enjoyable and I really appreciate Edgar and James for the way they made my car purchase a breeze. More

We go there because of past experiences, not only with the sales teams that we have dealt most recetly and in the past, but with the servic Village. This is one of these dealerships where they say they can match a quote over the phone, you get there the fiddle around for 2 hours, convincing you to drive again a car that you already drove, going through match a quote over the phone, you get there the fiddle around for 2 hours, convincing you to drive again a car that you already drove, going through the car features that you already know.
