On Saturday 9/27/08 I went to Honda Village to buy a part. I was approached by salesman Pavlo Zinovyev who convinced me to test drive a Honda Odyssey. After the test drive I told him I didn't want to buy a car. He asked me to wait at his desk while he got his sales manager. Mike Cosgrove the sales manager came over and we had a long conversation and some how got me to sign a sales contract for a Honda Odyssey LX without me ever driving or seeing this vehicle or even making an offer on it. Before I realized what I had done I was whisked off to see Edwin Fuentes in the finance department who gave me two options to pay for the car. The first was to borrow the money at an outrageous interest rate of 7.59%. The second option was If I bought a $1,500 extended warranty I would get a 2.9% interest rate. Two very bad arm twisting options but since it was late and he wanted to go home he lowered the warranty to $1,200 and the interest to 0.9%. I later found out Honda was offering 0.9% financing on the Odyssey without forcing people to buy a $1,200 extended warranty. I also found out Honda was offering a $3,500 rebate that the dealer very under handedly applied to my deal without me knowing. So the next day I called Honda Village and talked to David Levenson and told him I didn't want to buy a car and wanted to cancel this contract. He said he couldn't because they fed exed the paper work to Honda already. Then he transfered me to Edwin Fuentes who said the same thing. So I went to Honda Village Monday morning 9/29/08 and told Pavlo that I wanted to cancel this contract. He got Mike Cosgrove who said they can't cancel because they fed exed the paper work to Honda. So I asked to see the general sales manager. Bob Levenson the general sales manager came over and I told him I didn't want to buy a car and I'd like to cancel this contract. He said it was impossible because the paper work was sent to Honda already. I said if it was fed exed then we could stop shipment and have it returned. He said he didn't know how it was sent and wouldn't cancel the contract. (How could he not know how it was sent when David Levenson, Mike Cosgrove, and Edwin Fuentes all know it was fed exed). I told him I didn't want to buy a car. He told me I was stupid for signing a contract for something I didn't want and wasn't going to get my deposit back. Then he started yelling at me and insulting me. He kept saying it's your car, you signed a contract, you bought a car. Then he walked into his office and mumbled something to a salesman who then laughed. Later that evening I returned to Honda Village deciding that if I'm going to be forced into something I may as well make the best of it. So I asked Mike Cosgrove if I could buy the Honda Odyssey EX-L instead and he agreed and would cancel the first contract that Bob Levenson said was impossible to cancel. Again I didn't see or test drive this car. And again I was whisked off to see Edwin Fuentes in the finance department. We kept all the same terms, 0.9% financing and a $1,200 extended warranty which if I cancel before 30 days I could get a full refund.(Which took Honda Village over two monthes to refund). I told Mike and Pavlo that I would pick up the car on Saturday 10/4/08 because I needed my trade in to go to work. They said no problem and promised it would be ready for Saturday. Unfortunately, late Friday night 10/3/08 I found out that Honda Village had transfered the registration of my trade to the Odyssey on Tuesday 9/30/08 and I had been driving an unregistered car all week. So on Saturday morning 10/4/08 I called and explained this to Bob Levenson. Who was unsympathetic and flipped out and insulted me again. I told him I didn' trust Honda Village because they put me at risk by transfering my plates and that I wanted to cancel. He yelled at me and insulted me again and ordered me to come down and pick up the car, knowing my trade was unregistered. The next day I arranged for the new car to be driven to my house by Pavlo and he would put a dealer plate on my trade. When he showed up it didn't have an inspection sticker nor was it properly prepped. The oil and windshield washer fluid was low and there were sticky marks on the sides and hood from where the protective paper had been. On Monday I brought the new car to Honda Village to get an inspection sticker. The atmosphere was very tense and sales people stood outside Bob Levenson's office to try to intimidate me while I was waiting. So now you can see why I feel Honda Village is the worst dealership I've ever been to. I had the most horrible experience I could ever imagine. I spent $30,000 at Honda Village only to be bullied, insulted, intimidated and forced to buy a car I didn't want need or could afford by an angry, unprofessional, miserable little jerk named Bob Levenson. Stay away from Honda Village. More

I have dealt with many sales persons in my life. Bob is the first salesman to actually make me think about how positive my entire experience was at this dealership. He was able to get me a car that no other dealer seemed to have. However, it was the manner in with which Bob Handled every question, every concern, and every detail that impressed me the most. Everything went perfectly,from the time Bob called me on the phone, until the time I drove away in my new Honda. I would highly recommend that you give Bob a call---and tell him that Linda sent you!! The very many details that needed attention in the sale and trade-in were very well handled by Anthony and we enjoyed our experience very much. Thank you also to the business managers, Ivo and Joe, who also helped us. We have bought about many cars for our family at Honda Village over the last 10 years and we have always been very satisfied with the sales and service. We would also like to thank the service department that keeps us coming back year after year. This dealership was the third one we visited after two unsatisfactory stops. We were assigned a salesperson immediately and approached in a friendly manner by Svet. Svet was knowledgeable about the vehicles and we took the car out for a run. I purchased a Honda Civic. One of the reasons I leased the car was the professional and friendly demeanor of our salesperson. In addition to providing all the information I asked, he added what I consider to be necessary tips about the car. He stayed past the closing time. I am optimistic that the service department will also be responsive, but naturally do not have any experience yet. I recommend this dealer and salesperson. More
