Salesman Bob McGrath was great to work with. He made me feel comfortable and he accommodated MY schedule even if that was not convenient for him personally (I think it was actually his day off), which mad feel comfortable and he accommodated MY schedule even if that was not convenient for him personally (I think it was actually his day off), which made me feel a special sense of attention to my needs. I did not feel pressured or stressed by the process; Bob was throrough and clear throughout, making sure all steps were covered, and he has followed up by phone to make sure that my purchase has turned out to be all that I expected. Other aspects of the purchase, in particular the payment/financing process, were handled also with the highest level of professionalism and consumer-friendly approach. The overall atmosphere within the dealership was friendly and welcoming. More

My wife and I just purchased a certified pre-owned CRV yesterday and we are very happey with the whole process. Alex showed his professionalism to his work and was patient with the very request we have ha yesterday and we are very happey with the whole process. Alex showed his professionalism to his work and was patient with the very request we have had. He is not pushy but friendly and nice. He is a good salesman. All the paperwork done by Manny is smooth without lots of pain and Manny got me a better APR than my banker, which made us very happy to save some money. BUT you have to read carefully about the forms you will sign as once you signed it, it is difficult to make changes again! We have to go back again to correct a form that has a line of words in SMALL font on the BOTTOM of the page for a program fee of $350! Otherwise, floor peolple are welcome and we even got the free popcorn! Generally we are satisfied with the whole experience there and would like to recommend the shopping to their service. More
I had a great experience. Was able to test drive two different models and discuss the pros and cons of one over the other as well as received detailed information on the different features available on different models and discuss the pros and cons of one over the other as well as received detailed information on the different features available on the model that I preferred. We didn't do a ton of negotiating on the price, but I paid less than MSRP and got a fair deal. They gave me a great value on the trade in. They even took a car off of the dealer floor for me to test drive. When I said no to specific add-ons, there was no push back. This was by far the best experience I had buying a car. More
What an aweful experience! My wife and I went there looking for a used Civic. We were pleased with the selection but that was about it. When we first walked in, I asked to speak with someone from the looking for a used Civic. We were pleased with the selection but that was about it. When we first walked in, I asked to speak with someone from their fleet sales. They said no one was available, and so I agreed to talk to someone from their normal sales. It was 10 minutes later before anyone came to talk to us. From there, we saw several cars and found one that we liked. There was way too much back and forth on the price, and they were very pushy to have us sign the papers that night. In the end, we opted to buy a used Civic. Thats when all heck broke loose. That night, they told us that we were approved for a 5.29% loan. Great (i thought). We arranged for a pick up time two days later on Saturday. Friday we get a call from the dealership saying the car wont be ready because of a problem with the RMV registration, but that they would call Friday evening to confirm. Friday evening came and went. We called right as they were closing, got put on hold, and no one came back to answer our call. After 15 minutes on hold, we hung up. Then on Saturday, they called and said everything would be set for Monday, but that they would confirm on Sunday. Sunday came and went with no phone call. On Monday, I called at 5 to confirm that we could pick it up that evening, and was told everything was good and the car would be ready to go. When we showed up, the car wasnt ready because they had requested the wrong title ... and so we would have to wait another day. So we set up a time for Tuesday. On tuesday, when we show up, they tell us we have to resign all the loan paperwork because the loan we did have didnt go through. The new loan was at a rate of 5.79% ... half a percent higher than we were initially quoted! Luckily they were willing to decrease the price of the car so that our pmt stayed the same. So we get checked out and drive the car home. The next day we get a frantic call from the sales person who says we have to take back to them an envelope that was in the car console immediately. I was at work (about 50 min away) with the car when the call came in. I told them that I couldnt get it to them immediately, but that I would drop it off that evening. That evening, i did just that. The salesperson had left for the day, but I gave it to the front desk who said they would make sure she got it. Come to find out, it had the car title in it! I should have held onto it as ransom!!! Oh wait, it gets better. The next day, the sales person calls and yells at my wife because she didnt get the envelope the day before. She hadnt looked in her mailbox at the dealership yet! It was a massive hassle ... but at the end we were happy to be through with dealing with the dealership. Fast forward 6 weeks ... its time for our first pmt on our loan to be due, but I havent gotten any information or any sort of a bill from the lein holder. So I call the lein holder, and they say that the loan was approved, but then they heard nothing from the dealership ... so they dont have a loan file for us. So now it has been 2 days with trying to call people at the dealership and only getting answering machines and never getting a call returned. What a joke of a dealership!! More
My Honda Village experience was top notch from the moment I entered the dealership to driving off in my new Accord; I received so much more than I ever expected. The atmosphere is welcoming and it is a hype, I entered the dealership to driving off in my new Accord; I received so much more than I ever expected. The atmosphere is welcoming and it is a hype, drama and pressure-free environment. I was fortunate enough to deal with a great team, most especially my product savy and personable Sales Specialist, Vartan. This is my first Honda, so this was not a cut and dry sale and Vartan was attune to this. Always most generous with his time and patience, whether at the dealership or on the phone. I was treated as an individual, not just another sale, with my best interests in mind. Word of mouth speaks volumes, and I cannot say enough about Honda Village. It is with the utmost confidence that I recommend them to former and future Honda and/or alternate brand owners. Their hours of operation are conducive to all, as well as the conveniences and perks they afford their clients. You'll find that your happiness and satisfaction is paramount. More
I stopped in to a Honda Dealership in another town and had a terrible experience. I was so upset at the way I was being treated, that I actually had to tell this person to back off. The next day I passed had a terrible experience. I was so upset at the way I was being treated, that I actually had to tell this person to back off. The next day I passed by your dealership with a friend and took her inside, so I could show her the car I wanted to buy. I had no intention of buying a car that day, but not long after I met Alex, everything changed. Alex actually talked to me instead of trying to sell me a car. We went on a ride and when we were done, Alex sat in the car with us and explained every bell and whistle in language I could understand. He never rushed us, and he never pressured me. I asked him to run some numbers for me and he was very happy to do so. He was with us for at least two hours or more, even knowing that I was not going to buy a car that day. His knowledge of the car was very impressive and his sincerity was staggering. I bought a car that day and came back to pick it up a few days later. Once again, Alex spent well over an hour showing me how to operate the car and all it's toys. I was so comfortable and so happy to have this beautiful car and proceeded to thank him over and over. Alex is without a doubt, the best salesperson I have ever dealt with and he made my experience a happy one. And, may I add, all of the staff were wonderful, too. You are very lucky to have him at your dealership and anyone would be lucky to have him as their salesperson. Thanks Alex.I'm in sales too, and I know a good one when I see one. Make sure you ask for Alex and tell him Pam sent you The place is great! More

I was very pleased because Bob looked all over the New England network to find me a Basic Honda Fit after Clunker Weekend. It was a challenge, but he persisted. I really enjoy the car. Honda Village is the worst dealership I've ever been to Honda Village is the worst dealership I've ever been to in my life because of general sales manager Bob Levenson who bullied, intimidated, and fo Honda Village is the worst dealership I've ever been to in my life because of general sales manager Bob Levenson who bullied, intimidated, and forced me to buy a car I didn't want, need, or could afford, and his policies of deceiving, lying, and dishonesty. On Saturday 9/27/08 I went to Honda Village to buy a part. I was approached by salesman Pavlo Zinovyev who convinced me to test drive a Honda Odyssey. After the test drive I told him I didn't want to buy a car. He asked me to wait at his desk while he got his sales manager. Mike Cosgrove the sales manager came over and we had a long conversation and some how got me to sign a sales contract for a Honda Odyssey LX without me ever driving or seeing this vehicle or even making an offer on it. Before I realized what I had done I was whisked off to see Edwin Fuentes in the finance department who gave me two options to pay for the car. The first was to borrow the money at an outrageous interest rate of 7.59%. The second option was If I bought a $1,500 extended warranty I would get a 2.9% interest rate. Two very bad arm twisting options but since it was late and he wanted to go home he lowered the warranty to $1,200 and the interest to 0.9%. I later found out Honda was offering 0.9% financing on the Odyssey without forcing people to buy a $1,200 extended warranty. I also found out Honda was offering a $3,500 rebate that the dealer very under handedly applied to my deal without me knowing. So the next day I called Honda Village and talked to David Levenson and told him I didn't want to buy a car and wanted to cancel this contract. He said he couldn't because they fed exed the paper work to Honda already. Then he transfered me to Edwin Fuentes who said the same thing. So I went to Honda Village Monday morning 9/29/08 and told Pavlo that I wanted to cancel this contract. He got Mike Cosgrove who said they can't cancel because they fed exed the paper work to Honda. So I asked to see the general sales manager. Bob Levenson the general sales manager came over and I told him I didn't want to buy a car and I'd like to cancel this contract. He said it was impossible because the paper work was sent to Honda already. I said if it was fed exed then we could stop shipment and have it returned. He said he didn't know how it was sent and wouldn't cancel the contract. (How could he not know how it was sent when David Levenson, Mike Cosgrove, and Edwin Fuentes all know it was fed exed). I told him I didn't want to buy a car. He told me I was stupid for signing a contract for something I didn't want and wasn't going to get my deposit back. Then he started yelling at me and insulting me. He kept saying it's your car, you signed a contract, you bought a car. Then he walked into his office and mumbled something to a salesman who then laughed. Later that evening I returned to Honda Village deciding that if I'm going to be forced into something I may as well make the best of it. So I asked Mike Cosgrove if I could buy the Honda Odyssey EX-L instead and he agreed and would cancel the first contract that Bob Levenson said was impossible to cancel. Again I didn't see or test drive this car. And again I was whisked off to see Edwin Fuentes in the finance department. We kept all the same terms, 0.9% financing and a $1,200 extended warranty which if I cancel before 30 days I could get a full refund.(Which took Honda Village over two monthes to refund). I told Mike and Pavlo that I would pick up the car on Saturday 10/4/08 because I needed my trade in to go to work. They said no problem and promised it would be ready for Saturday. Unfortunately, late Friday night 10/3/08 I found out that Honda Village had transfered the registration of my trade to the Odyssey on Tuesday 9/30/08 and I had been driving an unregistered car all week. So on Saturday morning 10/4/08 I called and explained this to Bob Levenson. Who was unsympathetic and flipped out and insulted me again. I told him I didn' trust Honda Village because they put me at risk by transfering my plates and that I wanted to cancel. He yelled at me and insulted me again and ordered me to come down and pick up the car, knowing my trade was unregistered. The next day I arranged for the new car to be driven to my house by Pavlo and he would put a dealer plate on my trade. When he showed up it didn't have an inspection sticker nor was it properly prepped. The oil and windshield washer fluid was low and there were sticky marks on the sides and hood from where the protective paper had been. On Monday I brought the new car to Honda Village to get an inspection sticker. The atmosphere was very tense and sales people stood outside Bob Levenson's office to try to intimidate me while I was waiting. So now you can see why I feel Honda Village is the worst dealership I've ever been to. I had the most horrible experience I could ever imagine. I spent $30,000 at Honda Village only to be bullied, insulted, intimidated and forced to buy a car I didn't want need or could afford by an angry, unprofessional, miserable little jerk named Bob Levenson. Stay away from Honda Village. More
