I had been looking for an Accord EX-L with lower milage to replace my 9 year old Camry. I naturally went first to the Honda dealer 3 miles from my house. Unfortunately, they pulled all the prototypical sal to replace my 9 year old Camry. I naturally went first to the Honda dealer 3 miles from my house. Unfortunately, they pulled all the prototypical sales stunts. Offering nothing for my trade, not willing to negotiate and saying their deal was only good if I purchased that day - UGH. I contacted Honda Village via email and Manny responded quickly. I arranged to meet him and test drive a car the next day. Knowing that my time was limited, Manny had the car ready for me when I arrived and also had made arrangements to get me a trade-in value for my Camry. The trade in offer was very competitive and he told me what the car would cost after trade in. I returned to my office - and after consulting with my wife - I called Manny back and made a reasonable counter offer. Manny got back to me within 5 minutes and my offer was accepted. I did not have to meet sales managers or get jerked around in any way. We closed the deal the next day and I drove away in my new car. It was a great experience. I would go back to see Manny in a second and would definitely refer business to him and Honda Village. Adam Scott More
Just 5 days right after a "full tune up at 30,000 miles", my wife's honda (brought brand new and serviced only by this dealership), died on her. On the day of service, even though my wife's car stil miles", my wife's honda (brought brand new and serviced only by this dealership), died on her. On the day of service, even though my wife's car still require additional service with a potential that the battery might not work due to a battery wire/clamp that they don't have(cost $3...) and that I offer to leave her car at the dealership for this service, their service person still handed my wife's car back to me to drive. As a result, my wife and my 1.5 yr old were stranded in Cambridge and require towing from cambridge to home and another tow from home to the dealership. The only thing I got from Tony Saltalamacchia(service manager)was 'I am sorry that this happen to your wife, but there was no fault to their certified service people...only a miscommunication'. NO Accountability of their service quality. Tony's reason was 'they could not "predict" that the wire will cause the battery 'not to function'. WOW.....Really.... I am not a mechanic or an electrician, but by common sense, if there was a wiring problem to your battery, I would assume that any car parts that require electricity will not work properly. Terrible service!! More
My husband and I were sold a used Toyota Matrix that we were assured had not had any trouble. For some reason, we weren't offered a Carfax, though all the other used cars on the lot had one available. They were assured had not had any trouble. For some reason, we weren't offered a Carfax, though all the other used cars on the lot had one available. They said it had had a minor accident, stressed no body work. Well, we were totally duped. Bought the car and brought it to our family mechanic, who immediately pointed out that major body work had been done, including replacing the rear axle. We bought our own Carfax for it (should have done that first) and found it had been in two major accidents, and was basically rebuilt. After much back and forth returned the car for our trade in and a full refund, but not after a lot of hassle. We were totally taken advantage of, and these people were dishonest throughout. More
The process of buying and leasing a car is stereotypically described as a hassle, not with Jim Samson. He transcends that stereotype. I was referred to Jim from a friend who leased from Hond stereotypically described as a hassle, not with Jim Samson. He transcends that stereotype. I was referred to Jim from a friend who leased from Honda Village in the past and I have to say Jim made the whole process very easy. Right from our first conversation Jim was honest and accommodating. If you are looking to cut through the stereotypes and deal with a good guy and not a slick sales guy, go to Jim Samson at Honda Village. More
I was in the process of buying my 7th Chevy; that is until I went to Honda Village and met with Joe Chang and Georgi Stoev. They were professional, courteous, and above all...HONEST!!! I need to provi until I went to Honda Village and met with Joe Chang and Georgi Stoev. They were professional, courteous, and above all...HONEST!!! I need to provide some context here...I started looking for a new car on Friday evening, just prior to the dealership closing. I was looking for a Malibu. I had three Malibus before, and I love the car. I wasn't impressed with the dealer so, on Sunday, I opted to go to the dealer who had sold me a Malibu and an Impala, both at the same time. The salesman was great...quoted a pretty good deal, and we waited for his call on Monday to finalize the transaction. On Monday, we got the call, and it was NOT the deal they had mentioned on Sunday. Their business manager did a TERRIBLE job of discussing this with my husband. We walked away from it. The Salesman called us and said he would see what he could do. On Tuesday, he gave us a better deal but I told him I wanted to go to look at a Honda. I would let him know if I decided on the Malibu. Tuesday evening I went to the dealership with my brother, Steve, who had told me great things about Honda Village, and Joe, in particular. I was totally impressed with the entire experience. My husband was equally impressed and we both said that they literally "blow away" the competition. I signed the papers on Wednesday night for a new Honda Accord. The Chevy dealership continued to call, and had hoped for a change of heart. It didn't happen! Even today, a full week later, they called me to see if I had decided on the car. Oh, I had decided, but not on their car! Too bad...I wasn't just looking at cars...I needed to buy a car! I love the new Honda, and I will make a point of recommending Honda Village to everyone I know. Regards, Pat Withrow More
In March of 2012, I leased a new Honda Accord from Jim Sampson at Honda Village. Jim's pleasant, trustworthy, accommodating, helpful style made the whole experience an amazingly positive one. Working with Sampson at Honda Village. Jim's pleasant, trustworthy, accommodating, helpful style made the whole experience an amazingly positive one. Working with Jim was so positive that when my 2nd vehicle died in August, I went back and leased another Honda Accord through him. I didn't think it was possible, but my experience the second time around was even better than the first. Jim took such good care of me on both my lease deals that I referred a good friend of mine. My friend had never been to a dealership before and never had a new car. Jim Sampson and Honda Village went out of they're way to make my friend's first car buying experience a memorable one. Within 24 hours, he had leased a 2012 Honda Civic. It goes without saying that I would highly recommend Jim Sampson and Honda Village to anyone looking for not just a great vehicle, but a great car buying experience as well. More
Within the last 6 months, my wife and I leased two 2012 Honda Accords through Honda Village. I already wrote a review about how awesome Jim Sampson was on the sales side, but I didn't want to forget Joe Ch Honda Accords through Honda Village. From the moment I contacted Darryl, I knew I would buy a car from him. The main reason: TRUSTWORTHY. It's a gut feeling and I felt it. Everything he said he would do for me, he did. Then he went the extr car from him. The main reason: TRUSTWORTHY. It's a gut feeling and I felt it. Everything he said he would do for me, he did. Then he went the extra mile. I've had my share of difficult experiences buying cars, so I was surprised. I was waiting for "the catch", but it never came. After beating other deals on the table, we closed the deal in an hour. The teamwork from Honda Financial and Honda Village was stellar. I've been driving it every day ever since and the car exceeded expectations. Most importantly, I am getting married in four weeks, which I shared with Darryl. Everyone knows that there is a lot of stress involved despite being the happiest day of my life. The financial pressures are tremendous, so I shared with Darryl that I needed to save every dollar on this car deal. I also shared that I had lost my father recently, and my finances were tied up in Probate Court. That's why I consider him a friend now, and I never thought that could happen just buying a car. I think you should go see him .-) Felix T. More
My experience has been very positive at Honda Village. I have now leased 2 cars with them and they have always been very polite, informative, and helpful. Tom Silva was a pleasure to deal with at Honda Village. Tom communicates well and took care of details such as bring a car into a garage of my choice for inspection. In this case, my garage identified that Tom communicates well and took care of details such as bring a car into a garage of my choice for inspection. In this case, my garage identified that the brakes had rusted. This was a problem that must have developed after the car was put up for sale as the car sat on the lot during the very damp month of May 2012. Tom even returned a call on his day off to ensure that I wasn't waiting for a response from the dealership. Honda Village agreed that the rusty brakes were a safety issue and they agreed to a fair resolution that cost them money to fix the brakes and ensure the car's safety. Honda Village lowers prices on used cars after (I think) 8 weeks to near too good to believe prices and even took a couple hundred more off to make the deal. In my case, I bought a low mileage '09 Subaru for my daughter. Since Honda Village has little frontage and it's not easy to park there, it's easy to overlook. As a result, they go the extra mile to have their dealership thrive. Next time I'm in the market, I'd return to Honda Village and ask for Tom Silva. Good luck with your search. More
