It was a pleasure working with Jim Samson. If anyone is looking to purchase a Honda, I highly recommend they visit Honda Village and ask for Jim. They won't be disappointed. looking to purchase a Honda, I highly recommend they visit Honda Village and ask for Jim. They won't be disappointed. More
Let’s start I called them on last Tuesday (10 Dec) saying I needed a car ASAP as I drive a car which is not ideal for snow. They matched the price given to me by the other dealer in Everett. But called again I needed a car ASAP as I drive a car which is not ideal for snow. They matched the price given to me by the other dealer in Everett. But called again saying I have 2 days to make up my mind. I said I will take my chances. I consulted with my husband and agreed it is better to get it from here as we live in Waltham. I called them and agreed to the appointment on Saturday. We agreed on price , color and other details. After that came the finance guy. He basically started talking about extended warranty and all that. We said we are not sure but he said don't worry since you are coming to give the down payment and title for your trade in - You can let me know. For the time decide on which policy you like. We agreed. We went to the dealership at 7pm. The Sales guy is like where is title and down payment. We said we changed our mind about the extended warranty. He was like you have 30 days to change your mind. I said do I get all my money back ? He said almost. You said you have time. I asked him , did you put the venture shield on ? He said no. I said to him please do not put that. He said the finance guy is busy to come or wait after 45 mins. I came back after 45 mins. Jim says well the finance guy left as there is company dinner. I understand that. But could you have said that at 7 pm to come tomorrow. He asked us to come next day. He called next day to move it further as he was on vacation. He didn’t even bother to ask whether it is convenient for me? At this point I decide I need to call his manager and talk to him. I called him on Wednesday morning, it went to the voicemail. Left him a voicemail requesting to call me back. No response. Called again. No response. At 5 pm I finally call the receptionist and ask why no one has bothered to call me back. Guess what – the guy has left. I am really frustrated and angry. I am not super proud of what I did next – yelled at her stating their false hours published on the website. At 7 I get a call from different manager saying he is sorry. I ask him if I bring in the title tomorrow can I pick the car. He says no. I suggest if I bring it now can I pick the car tomorrow? He said yes. We went to the dealership, he asked us to wait 5 mins which quickly turned into 35 mins. Finally the finance guy shows up ; A complete BULLY. He bullied us into getting the car with the venture shield. His words were : you signed a contract and you can say bye to the 500 deposit. My advice ; do not put any money down here till you are sure. I should have just disputed the money with my credit card company ( thought about this option later). The new sales guy : Edgar was nice and seems to care about customers. He called us after a week we purchased the car asking how we are doing. But overall a really terrible customer service and I am wondering More
Georgi was awesome! He patiently went through several different models, identified pro and cons according to my preferences and was able to get me the best deal for my purchase. different models, identified pro and cons according to my preferences and was able to get me the best deal for my purchase. My son made an appointment and we told him that we were tired of the terrible gas mileage that we were getting on our SUV. T he car was delivered and again he explained everything. We are very happy with car and the salesman that made it so easy More

I sold my Honda Element (which I loved for 116k miles as the sole owner) to Honda Village for about $2000 less than blue book value, despite asking them for a better price. During the sales process, the buy the sole owner) to Honda Village for about $2000 less than blue book value, despite asking them for a better price. During the sales process, the buying manager never came out of his office, never even shook my hand after the sale. I had to mail the title to them, and they waited for 5 (FIVE!!!) weeks to send me a check. I called and emailed repeatedly, they repeatedly ignored my messages, and flat out lied to me when I did get them on the line. (They lied about when they received the title, which I'd mailed by certified mail. When I called them on the lie, the salesman hemmed and hawed, then blamed the accounting department). When I was finally able to speak to the manager, he told me a check had been mailed. It never arrived. I asked him to cancel it and FedEx me a new check, which he made me wait another four days for (after waiting 4 weeks), because his accounting department 'had the day off.' I asked him why, after I waited for four weeks, that I should have an empty bank account while they took the day off. He just repeated that it was their day off. FINALLY, he did FedEx a check, although I had to call him to get the reference number he had promised to email me. I cannot say strongly enough that this was a very negative experience, and I hope that others will avoid this dealership and not reward them for treating customers this way. More

After signing my receipt for the work done I proceeded to ask a couple of technical questions about features within my 2013 Honda Accord. Phil told me he couldn't answer all of em, however, he knew someone that could. He proceeded to ask Nathan to come and help me. Nathan for the next 45 minutes went above and beyond trying to help me learn features in my car that I have yet been able to utilize (My text message and email ability). He could have very easily have said he was to busy at the moment to help me, yet that was not the case at all. He was able to connect all my features and I couldn't have been happier. In an industry where their is so much critism I could not have been happier with the customer service I have received at Honda Village today. I will be returning from now on for all of my service needs. Thank you again Honda Village! More
I visited Honda Village as a return customer. I purchased a new Accord there in 1997. The sale transaction went very well, and Honda Village met my price. The service at Honda Village is quite go purchased a new Accord there in 1997. The sale transaction went very well, and Honda Village met my price. The service at Honda Village is quite good. Thus the reason for my return -- this time with the intent to purchase a used CRV. Unfortunately, when I set my eyes upon the CRV, it appeared to be more "abused" than "used"!! I noticed a used Kia in the showroom which was in very good shape and had low mileage. We took it out on a test drive and also brought it to a Kia dealer for a mechanical check-up, which went very well. Honda Village took care of a couple of minor items. The transaction was a Go. I had a trade-in for which I received a fairly respectable amount. My salesman, Jim Samson, was very pleasant from the beginning to the end of the transaction. He stands his ground in the bartering process, but in a friendly way. He is a good salesman. This part was easy-peasy. Then came the financing portion, which I always dread. Barry is a decent guy, but I wish these business managers would cut out the pleasantries and get down to business. They've got to understand that at this point, the customer just wants to close the deal and go home! I paid cash, and needless to say that didn't go over well. With interest rates these days, I probably lost a couple of dollars!! Then, to add insult to injury, I stated that I didn't want any of the warranties (they're not worth the paper they are written on, in my opinion). Barry was not happy, but I have to give him credit for trying .... he still went thru the warranties anyway. I think both Barry and I went to our respective homes and had a stiff drink! At the end of the day, I have my new-to-me Kia, and it's a great car. Would I go back to Honda Village again? Yes. More
After visiting other dealerships and getting several internet quotes, I came to Village Honda to buy a 2014 CRV. They were able to meet my best price and had the model and color I wanted.
