We got the price of the car down to what we paid for the last lease. They(all the staff) worked together to help make the an easy purchase. I was able to wait until the end of Feb., to pick up! I'd definitely recommend this dealership and Peter. Thank you :) More
Jim Samson was very knowledgeable, informative and personable. My wife and I usually approach buying a car like a visit to a dentist for a root canal but Jim was able to alleviate our apprehension and made buying a car a pleasurable experience. Jim's associate, Edgar Monterrosa, also worked with us to set a deal that makes us a very loyal Honda Village customer. Calvin Huang has worked with us on our other Honda vehicles and has always been helpful, professional, and caring. We have no reservations about recommending Honda Village to anyone looking to purchase a new car or have service. More
My experience at Honda Village was excellent from the minute I walked in the showroom and met David Rodriguez and Manny Zabatta to the very end when I finalized all the financial paperwork with Ivo Petro minute I walked in the showroom and met David Rodriguez and Manny Zabatta to the very end when I finalized all the financial paperwork with Ivo Petrov. They were friendly, knowledgeable and fair on the price they gave me for my trade-in as well as the new Honda Pilot I bought. We came in on one Saturday and looked at cars but they didn't have the one we wanted in stock. It was ordered and Manny kept us notified during the week and let us know when it was in. When we went back to pick it up Manny spent plenty of time with us showing how to use everything on our new vehicle. Ivo was patient explaining the financing to us as well as going over the warranties available. All the paperwork for the registration, title, etc. was taken care of by them and it was the whole process couldn't have been easier for us. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Honda Village and will definitely be looking for my next car there! More
I got a great deal on my new vehicle and they were able to match offers from other dealerships. This is the second vehicle I've purchased from Honda Village and both times it was quick and efficient. My experience working with David Avery at Honda Village was the best car buying experience of the 7 cars I have purchased (I drive my cars a long time). My strategy for car buying is the following: 1) I de was the best car buying experience of the 7 cars I have purchased (I drive my cars a long time). My strategy for car buying is the following: 1) I determine the make and model of the car that I want; 2) I then do comparison shopping via email to all the area dealers and ask dealers for their best prices and whether they can do better then their competitors; 3) I start at the top of my list of best prices and I go visit the dealers; 4) Rules for engagement with the dealers is simple - if I don't trust the salesperson and don't feel comfortable working with the dealership, I walk out and go to the next dealer on my list. Price is important but not as much as having a positive experience and sense that I am spending my hard earned money with an organization that treats people fairly. 5) I also value responsiveness whether via email, phone, and in person to my questions and the knowledge and experience of the salesperson. Following my script for car buying, my wife identified the make and model of the car she wanted, I then did my comparison shopping on line. David Avery gave me the lowest price of any Honda dealer in the area; he returned all my emails and calls promptly and I subsequently met him at the dealership. It didn't take long to know that I could trust David and that he was a person of integrity. First things first, we talked price of the car - it was the same as quoted. Second, we discussed additional fees including plates, title, etc. and administration fee - all were par for the course. We next discussed a trade-in value for my car and that was very fair relative to Kelley Blue Book values and other values that my wife had received while picking out the car. We then completed the discussion with a hand shake taking all of 30-minutes that included the evaluation of the trade-in. I did have to wait a bit to finalize the deal with the general sales manager who I did not trust and did not feel comfortable with - fortunately I was able to say no thanks to any added car warranties and service agreements and leave. A few days later I picked up my car and asked David where I could write a review about my experience so others Honda buyers can experience great price and great service - David was by far the best I've worked with. We had a 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/Rear Entertainment and wanted a new Odyssey Touring. Given that we knew exactly what we wanted (and have 3 small children) I decided to do most of the shopping online. Jim wanted a new Odyssey Touring. Given that we knew exactly what we wanted (and have 3 small children) I decided to do most of the shopping online. Jim was the first one to respond, within minutes! He gave a very competitive price. Over the new few hours, I received quotes from a number of dealerships. All of which commented on the limited availability of Touring models especially in the dark blue/gray interior we wanted. Jim was was responsive, it was clear he wanted the business and each time we spoke it was a valuable conversation. Several other dealers were set on getting me in to do a test drive despite the fact I was clear that I did a 5.5 year test drive with my last Odyssey and knew exactly what I wanted. I told Jim the color scheme I wanted and the best price I had thus far. He had the exact color I wanted in stock and was able to match the best price I had. I knew it was a good price because two other dealers had declined to match. The dealer that had the best price did not have blue. After a few good conversations with Jim, we decided to go to Honda Village and have look with the intention to buy so long as everything went well. Jim was great in person. He showed us the car and went with us on a test drive showing us the 2014 updates along the way. He helped get us set up with snacks for the kids as we did the paperwork. On the day of delivery, he went through all the updates for the 2014 again as well as the new toys that come with the Touring model. Everything went great. It was a great experience. If I decide to buy another Honda, I'll be sure to give Jim a chance at the business! More
I had completed my research and decided on a Silver/Black 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. I called this Honda dealership because of it's proximity to my home and I'm very happy with my choice. I spoke to the salespe 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. I called this Honda dealership because of it's proximity to my home and I'm very happy with my choice. I spoke to the salesperson (Edgar M.) to make sure they can honor the truecar.com price. After a short call back, I got a response over the phone before stepping into the dealership. I was told the car was not in stock (on a Thursday,) but they located one already with a partnering dealership and could have with new plates by Monday (which they did.) I arrived to the dealership to see the value that would be given for my trade, the last part of my decision. After a brief exchange, the KBB trade in value was honored. The financing paper work took a little longer than expected due to a tech glitch I was told, but Edgar made the wait pleasant with his knowledge of the different trim levels and various facts. Do your research online first, and go to Honda Village and you won't be disappointed. Ask for Edgar - he's a Honda guy, like me (my third,) and knows his stuff. Also, I was on the fence between the 2.4 and V6, and couldn't be happier with the 2.4. Has more than adequate power, and the real mpg average on first tank was over 26, with a lot of new-car-spirited driving. Overall, very satisfied. More
On January 6th 2014, my handicapped wife and I brought my Honda CRV in for service. In the cold weather it would not crank over enough to start and needed a boost. The service staff were all very helpful and Honda CRV in for service. In the cold weather it would not crank over enough to start and needed a boost. The service staff were all very helpful and courteous. The car was taken in quickly and they checked over the charging system and determined the battery was faulty. They replaced the battery and we were on our way within an hour. I cannot say enough about how pleased we were for their professionalism and how much they helped us. Thank you, John & Karen More
