I confirmed the price on the phone, the car I wanted was available (which was going to be a dealer swap), and that they accepted draft checks. All checked out. I get there, everything is going well, and we get the price finalized. Then I pull out the draft check, and the sales manager claims they don’t accept draft checks. I know that some dealerships do not, but I confirmed with a salesperson that they do. I told them that I got 2.24% over 65 months through DCU, which is a great rate as Honda’s tier 1 floor rate is about 3%. After (I kid you not) 40 minutes of discussion, where I don’t feel I was treated great by the manager, he “reluctantly” told me that they also finance through DCU and could offer me the same rate. (As to why they didn’t tell me that at the beginning…well, probably a typical car salesman act). This was on Wednesday. I put a $500 deposit down, and signed the preliminary Purchase and Sales Agreement. I was told to come in the next day (Thursday) - to sign the papers and potentially pick up the car Thursday, and if not Thursday, then Friday. I also needed the VIN # for insurance purposes (as they said they would fax the car information to my insurance company first thing Thursday morning, which they didn’t send anything over all day). I was told I would get a call the next morning with that information. No call - I called 3 times that Thursday, every time, it was a different excuse. I went in Thursday at 430pm (to sign the papers and get the Vin #) - when I asked if the car was there, the sales person hesitated like he was hiding something, and said “you will have to ask the sales manager”. So I laughed and said "you can’t even give me a straight answer on that?” It turns out it wasn’t there, which was fine, and I understood because it was a dealer swap. I sat in the dealership for 2 hours and 15 minutes before they printed out my papers and we signed everything. Absolutely crazy I had to wait that long. Fine, I moved on - and I got the VIN #, and signed the papers. I was told the car would now MAYBE be in Friday, if not, definitely Tuesday (as they don’t do swaps over the weekend). I got a call Friday, the car wasn’t in - “See you Tuesday to pick it up!” he told me. Tuesday comes around - no call. I call my salesman and sales manager each 2-3 separate times throughout the day, and neither picked up. Then I called the dealership - explained my situation, and was told I would get a call in 15 minutes. 2 hours went by, no call. So I called again - this time I said I was staying on the line - he comes back to the phone and goes “So the dealership sold your car to someone else…” (BTW this was after I signed all the paperwork!!!). After talking on the phone for another 30 minutes, they finally told me they would find another of the same car - and that I could pick it up Wednesday. I called and confirmed Wednesday, and finally went to pick up the car! But wait…then they told me I would have to come back to get the registration and get the car inspected. But I was told by my salesperson to come in Thursday to pick it up. Again, he said “I will call you first thing in the morning if the registration will be available to pick up”. He calls me Thursday - and doesn’t remember why he was calling. So I asked about the registration. He told me he didn’t know be he would check and call me back in 20 minutes. 2 hours goes by, he calls me back. Literally, the same conversation as before, so I ask him if I could pick up the registration that day, and he goes “Uhhhhh I’m not sure, let me check with the office, I will call you back”. Again, 2 hours, no call back. I called him twice, no pick up. So I called the sales manager, he told me no I can’t pick it up Thursday, but I can on Friday. Now mind you, I am working during the day as a teacher, and have to deal with this. I called out of work of my 2nd job on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday that week. I was treated horribly. Like once i signed the papers, they didn’t car about getting the car, or registration to me in a timely manner. I also couldn’t move into my apartment, because I needed the registration to get the parking permit. I had to catch a ferry to go to Long Island Friday night to go to a funeral. I then missed that ferry because they couldn’t get their act together with the registration and car. I explained this to them that Friday, and they didn’t care - they didn’t want to make it right, or make sure the customer was happy. Great car, but horrible experience. Will not use this dealership again, I do not recommend it to anyone. More
Poor business office practice During an effort to turn in a leased 2014 CRV and lease a 2017 CRV we were all but done and ready to sign the necessary paperwork due to the work of s During an effort to turn in a leased 2014 CRV and lease a 2017 CRV we were all but done and ready to sign the necessary paperwork due to the work of salesman Stanley Pena. During the credit review process we were told that while the price given to us for the lease was based upon "tier 1" credit qualification and, since we did not meet the required credit score, the price for the lease (36 mos) would have to increase. We decided that, while we understood the credit tier qualification, the increase was unsatisfactory and began to leave. At this point the business representative (Brandon) said he would call Honda and given our history with them see if he could do something about the tier rating. He informed us that he was able to get Honda to approve a "tier designation" and the dealership would get us to "tier 1" if we agreed to purchase a "Protection Package." Since this looked like "after sell" to us we decided to terminate the the transaction and requested our deposit be returned. At this point the Business manager was brought in and we were offered the lease at "tier 1" pricing. However, after some exchanges with the business rep (Brandon) where he failed to address our request for the return of our deposit and in the process tried to shame us with some talk of how much time and effort he invested in getting us to a "tier 1" rating we had lost faith in the dealership and demanded our deposit be returned. We were then told the accounting office personnel had left and we would have to return the next day to receive the return of our deposit. More
Honest, patient, straightforward! I brought my 10 month old son with me to a combined 3 different outings at the Honda Village dealership, and Josh went above and beyond to make sure we were both comfortable. I strolled my baby in the stroller around Josh's desk the entire time we talked, and Josh went out of his way to coordinate my car seat switching, dropping off and picking up of my trade-in, and delivery of my new car. Josh leveled with me, worked with my budget and made it clear he cared about my particular situation/wanted to work with me to get me what I wanted. He didn't leave me waiting unnecessarily at any point, or engage in any negotiation games of any sort. When I picked up the new car, I had my fussy baby on my lap in the drivers seat the entire time I was shown all the new bells and whistles, and never once was I made to feel self-conscious or rushed. Joshua Fink made the entire process pleasant and straightforward, and I love my new car. I can't recommend Josh highly enough! More

Phylisha was very responsive, friendly, and answered all my questions with no pressure. After I got there, JB was also friendly, honest, and low pressure. They honored the price that was discussed in email and gave me a fair value for my trade-in. This is in contrast to another dealer I was at who was high pressure and told me multiple lies about available financing and other things. I was impressed with everyone I met at Honda Village. I was a serious buyer who knew what I wanted and did my homework. They recognized that and treated me as such. I recommend Honda Village to anyone looking for a new Honda. More
Honda Village is top class car dealer I knew I was at the right place the minute I walked in. Kudos to the team and especially Josh Wink. Every review that you will read about the experien I knew I was at the right place the minute I walked in. Kudos to the team and especially Josh Wink. Every review that you will read about the experience with this dealership and especially with Josh Wink is not exaggerated. I find him an extremely pleasant and positive person. He was extremely patient with us and it was evident that his main goal was not to sell us a car at any cost, his objective was to make sure we are treated fairly and with respect. This is a place that I would definitely recommend to everyone. More
