I mailed an internet query to Subaru for information about a 2012 outback. Bill Miller at Performance Subaru in Chapel Hill was the only person who responded to my query, and he responded the next morni about a 2012 outback. I should also mention that he was honest and willing to quote me real numbers over the phone that blew away other dealers in the area. I live in Cary NC, and I found it refreshing to have such a positive initial introduction. I did check out another dealer, which only confirmed my decision to work with Bill Miller and Performance to complete the sale with them. I just took possesion of my new custom ordered 2012 Subaru Outback, and Bill was exceptional in helping me navigate the purchase and kept me updated as the car was built. I recommend Performance Subaru without reservation. More

Hendrick Durham needs to pay attention to how this dealership delivers the customer experience. I had done my homework prior to visiting the dealership, so I was aware of my trade-in value. We used Consumer Reports to choose a vehicle and settled on a Subaru Forester. They came up with the best price, and capped it off with great service. The intake service person was very attentive to an extra issue I wanted them to check into when I brought my Outback in for its 60K check. I brought my car in for an oil change, state inspection, and to have the brakes and the optional rear view mirror checked. Performance provided me with a loaner car so that I could run errands and then retu and to have the brakes and the optional rear view mirror checked. Performance provided me with a loaner car so that I could run errands and then return home. When I noticed an unfamiliar warning light, David took time to explain it to me. Later when the servicer had determined the problem with the rear view mirror and had examined the brakes, David called me with a report, explaining what was causing the noise in the brakes and assuring me that there was no safety problem with them. He also told me what it would take to resolve the problem with the mirror and told me the cost of replacement. Later he called me to let me know that the car was ready to be picked up. All in all, my experience with the service department at Performance has been positive and I do recommend that others use their service for Subaru products. More
