Brought my 2008 Saturn Vue in for service as was suggested when I spoke to a service manager (Jorge) at 7:30am. Arrived at 8:30 and waited while they "examined" the car until 10:30am when I was told suggested when I spoke to a service manager (Jorge) at 7:30am. Arrived at 8:30 and waited while they "examined" the car until 10:30am when I was told that they needed more time to tract down the ABS and Traction Control problem. Though I was told I would receive a call in a couple of hours from then regarding the problem, not until I called at 4pm was I told that it would be ready in an hour. When I arrived at 5, I was told (by Jorge) that they "just needed to print out the receipt". However, no receipt was necessary I was told (by Jorge) because it was "just a simple relay switch" or something like that. But, they would wash it and bring it around for me. But, when that was done and I got in to drive it away, I was struck by the fact that all the warning lights for the problem I brought it in for were still on! What I got next, was double talk.... "It was probably an intermittent problem". But, THE WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON! So, wouldn't the technician see that BEFORE releasing the car?! Again, double talk. My questions; Can I see the receipt? How many hours were clocked on this job? How could the technician release the car? Were met with avoidance and misdirection. I was told (by Kevin) that the code written on the paper work indicated a part was needed. So, I asked another question; Why would I be told the car is done if a part that was needed was never installed? "Maybe the couldn't get the part" I was told (by Kevin). Huh!?! So, here I am, ready to pick up the car after being told it was ready, 10 hours after bringing the car in for what I am now being told is a simple cable harness, having to leave my car for another day. It is clear to me that there is a serious problem with either the quality of communication, within the service department and within customer service, or the level of technical competency of the technician, or both. But, at this point I would not recommend anyone bring their vehicle to this dealership for service. More

I was really surprised how easy the car buying (leasing) process was with Matt. He was really honest and upfront with me. He of course gave me some obnoxious initial offer that was a waste of both of our process was with Matt. He was really honest and upfront with me. He of course gave me some obnoxious initial offer that was a waste of both of our time. I scoffed and he apologized and we moved on. I traded my '06 Prius for a new one (yes, I heard about the recalls. If you are that concerned about it, get out of my way). I love the car. I appreciate that when I asked for some time to discuss the process with my partner, Matt totally respected my request. I walked away with a new car and no feeling of buyer's remorse. My partner recently purchased a lexus from a local dealer which was fine, but when i compare the two, getting my new prius was waaay easier and less stressful. I would totally recommend Matt to anyone buying a car. If I had one complaint about Grossinger is that each time I have gone there, I have had to wait atleast 5 minutes for them to find a sales person to talk to me. It seems like they are all standing around this big cubicle area. I get it that you want to be low pressure and all but come on. It took me forever to navigate the halsted and north ave intersection, deal with the valet parking, find my way through "grossinger city" (which honestly, feels as sterile as a hospital) the least they could do was not make me ask twice to speak with someone. That said, once Matt came over, he was attentive enough without being overbearing. More
Really good, low stress experience. Zuhri was super and very thorough in showing us the car. He was so nice! Other folks were nice too. However, I wish we could have negotiated more on a couple of things, very thorough in showing us the car. He was so nice! Other folks were nice too. However, I wish we could have negotiated more on a couple of things, felt like we should have gotten a little better deal. More
We had a very good experience at this dealership, and think we got a fair deal for our trade in and for the car we purchased. We test drove three pre-owned mini vans - on three separate occasions - and Z think we got a fair deal for our trade in and for the car we purchased. We test drove three pre-owned mini vans - on three separate occasions - and Zhuri, our primary salesperson, was exceedingly helpful. Overall we were very pleased with our experience....the day after we purchased our car, I returned to purchase floor mats and the salesperson installed them for me - not the simplest task in a car with three rows. The only thing I wish would have been different is that they would have cleaned the car one final time before turning it over to us...a simple coat of windex on the dash would have been nice. More
I was shopping for a used Camry 2009. I did a lot of back and forth on the price but Got a great deal on the car. Even took the car home that same day. I was getting it thru my bank. the next day I went to m and forth on the price but Got a great deal on the car. Even took the car home that same day. I was getting it thru my bank. the next day I went to my bank to get the check so I could take it to Grossinger. When my bank tells me that the loan did not go thru. I wanted to cry. Well I did cry but not infront of them. Determaned to drive the car back to grossinger and tell them I would not be about to keep the car. I got there every one was mad when I was telling them That I could not keep it. Every worker there was working really hard so I could keep the car. Let just say that I stayed with the car and ended up paying a lot less with there financing then I would of with the bank. And I got warranty that I could not afford with the bank. I was very happy with everything this dealer did for me and will send all my friend and family to them......Even if you don't pay a car from them I would give this dealer a chance they will work with you..... My fiancee and I just purchased a 2010 Toyota Highlander this past weekend and I can't say enough good things about our experience. Our sales person was knowledgeable, helpful and above all - straight f this past weekend and I can't say enough good things about our experience. Our sales person was knowledgeable, helpful and above all - straight forward. If you are looking to avoid the dreaded high pressure sales approach, please contact Matt Kockler at Grossinger. He helped us navigate all the options we wanted and didn't want, without trying to push us in any direction. A truly refreshing experience that got us the car we wanted at an great price. And the deals Toyota is running right now are almost too good to be true. We saved so much money purchasing our Highlander during this promotion period Toyota is running. With all the bad press Toyota has received lately, I'll admit I did think twice before we went in to make our purchase. But having previously been the owner of a Chevy, Volkswagen, Ford, Honda, and Toyota - I know every car company has run into a quality assurance problem before (some much more than others). And while there's no excuse for the recent problem Toyota went through, I truly believe the quality and safety of Toyota over the past 30 years speaks for itself. I'd definitely recommend Grossinger Toyota and our sales person Mathew Kockler to any of our friends and family. More
I have purchased many vechicles in the past and always dread having to go through the same experience with dealers to purchase a new/used/leased/any car. This time I believed it to be no different, so I dread having to go through the same experience with dealers to purchase a new/used/leased/any car. This time I believed it to be no different, so I braced myself again for the usual headache. I went into Gossinger City Autoplex and was asked if I needed assistance by a sales rep., Keith Herrera. I said yes and from that point on I had the best experience purchasing a new vechicle in many, many years. For that, I would like to thank Keith for doing all he could to make purchasing my vechicle as pain free as possible. Thanks Keith, it was definitely a "NEW" experience for this car buyer. More

He showed me the cars I was treated with respect. Matt was knowlegeable and he answered all my questions. He was patient, courteous, and helpful. He showed me the cars several times and waited while I took time to decide. I usually hate to come to a dealer to buy a car but Matt made the experience very enjoyable. I would recommend him and the dealer to my friends. More
