I feel that the experience that I had with Grossinger was exemplary. The people there were very warm and accommodating and were willing to work with customers to meet at a comfortable price. Even though I ca exemplary. The people there were very warm and accommodating and were willing to work with customers to meet at a comfortable price. Even though I came into the experience knowing that car shopping would be almost an all day experience, it didn't feel like I was there long at all and that's just a testament to the great people at Grossinger. My salesman, Jim Monti, was very genuine, straight forward and great about providing specific information. I felt like I was getting a lot of pat answers at other places I so really appreciated his thoroughness. It was evident to me that he was interested in helping me find a car that was a good fit rather than just making a sale. When it came down to making a final decision, I had detailed pricing information and the car history report in front of me; the price was right, but I was hesitant to make an on-the-spot decision. In prior experiences, that's when the sales pressure was put on. In contrast, the GM Brian Weinberg, asked if I would like to take another test drive and some time to decide—-just a very timely and appreciated gesture and so clearly different than at other dealerships. I will definitely recommend buying a car here to co-workers and friends. Even when shopping for a used vehicle I felt very well taken care of and was walked through each step of the process. It was actually an enjoyable experience all round. More

I was in the market for a new car and was very interested in the CTS-V, after doing my research and knowing what I was looking for I want to visit Grossinger City Chevrolet. Not only did the sales representa in the CTS-V, after doing my research and knowing what I was looking for I want to visit Grossinger City Chevrolet. Not only did the sales representative that I had an appointment with leave early for the day without calling me, I was left with a so-called salesman that didn't listen to my needs and was grossly insulting. Below is actually a follow email that he sent to me. "Thank You for your "wise" advice , see as a Professional Sales Consultant for more then 13 yrs I could use help from someone like You my friend :)) , and Yes we tried to Help You with You purchase of a new car , if You would have shown us means and will to Buy , but nooo whatever my Boss asked You ,You kept giving us negative Answer, and to be honest I was Surprised he didnt throw You out of store for the way You behave ??? We have customers , worst then You but belive me they do not come and start to be pompuos and unreasonable like you did my friend , so next time You go someplace to buy a car , just remember we know all the tricks and game that You could throw at us and we still Smile at You on Your way out..good luck with Your purchase ,and don't worry Grossinger Cadillac will be in the business looong time ,even though we didn't satisfy , real estate maintance guy, with beat up 2007 Ford Focus who wants to buy a 75k Cadillac :))" If the grammar and poor etiquette isn't embarrassing enough, the message is atrocious. Sadly for them, I was misjudged, I am more then qualified for this purchase (regardless of the fact that I was a Ford Focus, which by the way is new and in great condition). The lack of professionalism has me already looking at other vehicles and staying away from Chevrolet. More

On the morning of Thursday, June 9, I emailed Grossinger that I was interested in one of their pre-owned vehicles. The vehicle was a 2001 Volvo with low miles and it was priced at around $9500. I received a that I was interested in one of their pre-owned vehicles. The vehicle was a 2001 Volvo with low miles and it was priced at around $9500. I received a phone call from one of Grossinger's representatives. His name was Trevor. We discussed the vehicle, and I assured him that I was interested. He said he would email me more details about the vehicle. I asked when I could take the car for a test drive. He said anytime. I told him I was going to come that day at around 2pm. Trevor said he would have a list of comparable cars available for me when I arrived, and the car would be ready. I did receive the email from Trevor about 15 minutes later. Great, right? So, I made the 45 minute trip to the dealership. When I got there, I asked for Trevor. Nobody knew who he was. I explained that we had talked that morning (see above). I was told that Trevor was not *really* in sales. I was passed to a new salesperson. I explained that Trevor was going to have a list of cars I might be interested in seeing. The salesperson gave me a blank stare. Then I told the salesperson that I really wanted to see the Volvo. We took the elevator to an upstairs garage. The salesperson took me to a 2009 Toyota Camry and he began to talk about what a terrific car it was. What? Where is the Volvo? Salesperson: "Um. Oh, let me see if I can find it." (Salesperson disappears for 20 minutes). I go looking for the salesperson after not finding the vehicle amongst the vehicles in the garage. He was downstairs by the main counter. Had he forgotten about me? When he sees me he says that the car is out for detail and it won't be available. I was told by another salesperson standing nearby that there was a backlog due to the holiday weekend. In my mind I said, "Really? What holiday is that, sir?" Then, I was told by the salesperson that I shouldn't want the Volvo anyway. He says, "It's an old car. Yea, it has low miles, but it is almost 10 years old. Now, that Camry has three times as many miles, but it is only two years old. Oh, and I can probably get the price down to around $14k." This dealership is a joke. I called and verified the car(s) I wanted to see, especially the Volvo. I made it clear that I was a graduate student looking for a car under $10k. I am going to graduate next year. Hopefully, I will get a job and earn lots of money. I will not be spending it at Grossinger. I will tell my friends not to shop there either. How you treat people matters in America. More
I can't say enough good things about my experience with the entire Grossinger team. I have had some terrible experiences with deceitful dealers who do not make you feel valued as a customer. Aside from the the entire Grossinger team. I have had some terrible experiences with deceitful dealers who do not make you feel valued as a customer. Aside from the great car, the primary reason I stayed at this dealer and negotiated with them was 100% about customer service. I felt that they respected me and the process of finding a fair price. As with all dealers, you have to defend the price you want to pay and stick with it but at the end of the day it was clear to me that their philosophy is about more than getting the sale, its about building a loyal customer base. They wanted my business as much as I wanted to buy a car. Great experience!!!! More

We met Sarge Sakinovic there and he gave us all the details on the car we were interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the car we liked and he was also very friendly and personable. This dealer was not pushy and let us make our decision on our own terms. We purchased the car a week later and it was very simple and easy to get the financing completed. I would highly recommended working with Sarge and Grossinger. They are organized, knowledgeable, and provided us with great service. Most of all they made us feel comfortable. Thanks!!! More
