I went to grossinger to get an offer on my 2008 Aveo I am considering selling. I went there for two reasons 1. because I had seen a sign posted that says "we'll buy from you even if you don't buy from us" an considering selling. Because my car's odometer was on the fritz which is a common problem for 08 Aveos and I figured the dealership would be aware of the issue. The experience was insulting, unprofessional, and laced with good old fashioned sexism. My car has hail damage and this is not something I am trying to hide nor do i feel the need to apologize for, however after Jay appraised my car he approached me as though I was burdening him with a piece of junk. He started by asking me how much I hoped to get out of this, then asked me if I'd filed an insurance claim for the hail damage and told me I'd already spent that money, and then proceeded to tell me how much money it would cost him to take on my car. When I explained that I didn't need his judgement calls or a lecture, that I'd simply come for an offer, he continued to tell me how hard it would be for him to take my car. Finally when he did make an offer he started it with "I don't mean t embarrass you but..." It was as though I had asked him to do something that is outside of the company's scope as opposed to something that they advertise with a huge sign when you walk in their service station. I spoke with his supervisor Ray and while he was very nice he still managed to make a number of assumptions about who I am and what kind of person I was. Ray also repeated a number of times "I don't know what happened or how things went bad so quickly. Jay is really a teddy bear." Those were certainly not words to comfort me in that situation as i was not looking for someone to snuggle with, rather someone who would make an offer on my car. All in all this staff needs some serious professional development. I would never recommend this place to anyone. More

I had a terrible experience with Grossinger. The guy named Abdul is a nothing else but a lier. Everything came out of his mouth was a lie. At the end, he went to full the fuel tank and after wasting 10 named Abdul is a nothing else but a lier. Everything came out of his mouth was a lie. Misleading pricing and ads. The price at the dealership wasn't even close to the advertised price. Called before I even went to the dealership and the sales manager confirmed the advertised price, and when wasn't even close to the advertised price. Ruben was knowledgeable and eager to tell me everything I wanted to know about my new Cadillac purchase. Their price was way lower than any other dealer I shopped at, and they followed up with me 3 times in wanted to know about my new Cadillac purchase. I walked into the showroom and asked Louis David to test drive a 2012 Toyota 4Runner. After the test drive we sat down and discussed financing and trade amount. After agreeing on both finance terms and trad drive a 2012 Toyota 4Runner. After the test drive we sat down and discussed financing and trade amount. After agreeing on both finance terms and trade amount, I submitted a credit application and was told that the finance person needed to perform an additional step before finalizing the deal and was told I would be notified later that evening. Friday night via email Louis David asked me to submit 2 pay stubs, which I did and was again told that the financing was all set and I will hear back first thing Saturday morning. After not hearing from anyone Saturday morning I called back on Saturday and was told by Ernie Salinas that again financing was imminent and that I would hear back later that day. Sunday after again not hearing back from either Ernie nor Louis, I called Louis on his mobile and was told that he would call me first thing Monday morning with final confirmation. Today is Wednesday and I have not heard back from anyone from the Grossinger organization. When I walked into the show room I assumed that Grossinger was in the business of selling automobiles, apparently that assumption was wrong. Grossinger is in the business of deceiving customers and wasting their time, very interesting business model. More

My family has been dealing with the Grossinger Family and the purchase of cars for several years. We were on a vacation trip to Chicago from Minnesota during Holiday week and one of my close friend mentioned about great Toyota deals at Grossinger City Toyota. Arshad Aroos took us to this Toyota Deal during Holiday week and one of my close friend mentioned about great Toyota deals at Grossinger City Toyota. Arshad Aroos took us to this Toyota Dealer in Chicago on 12/26/2011 just to look for any deals on a minivan as we are expecting our first Son pretty soon along with my three daughters. The gentleman who assisted us was Mr. Zuhri Thahir one of the Sales Manager and he was a such great an excellent human being. I have met many Sales Experts in my career with PepsiCo and Zuhri Thahir was another such a talented person whom I met and explained all the deals and convinced me & my family to purchase our first minivan 2012 Toyota Sienna during our vacation in Chicago.This was surprised to me and my family as we never thought to purchase a vehicle on this trip to Chicago.Anyway we were very happy to drive back to Minnesota with our new 2012 Toyota Sienna. I just bought my first "dealership" car from from Grossinger today and I couldn't be more pleased. The vechicle is amazing and the customer service is even better. My sales rep was Irene Martine from Grossinger today and I couldn't be more pleased. The vechicle is amazing and the customer service is even better. My sales rep was Irene Martinez and she made the whole experience a lot of fun and I was so glad she was able to put me in the truck of my dreams! Ron Stone was always stopping in to make sure that we were getting the best experience possible and to make sure that we walked away smiling. The facility is amazing, all of the additional services they offer would make waiting for maintenance a very pleasurable experience. The fact that the cars are inside is such a treat, nothing is worse than walking around outside in a lot to look at cars during a Chicago winter. I will definitely be back to Grossinger for the next vehicle I purchase. They made this a very smooth but exciting process and I couldn't be happier! More

This was actually our second car with Grossinger City. All of the employees are very nice. I can't say it enough. Trevor and Abel are very friendly. I went in to service my car. Since I was satisfied with my previous experiences with Grossinger, I went there again. I had no intention of buying a car, was just looking at the new cars. I was talking to J my previous experiences with Grossinger, I went there again. I had no intention of buying a car, was just looking at the new cars. I was talking to Jim Monti and told him how I loved my 2001 DeVille, the white diamond color, the ride it gave me, and low mileage (only 47,000 mi). I hated the thought of again having that large monthly payment for a new car (at my age ....79 ugh...can't believe it) when I loved my car so much and the ride it gave me. He told me about the car that just came in....looks exactly like mine.....a DTS, same color, a 2005 with only 14,000 miles. I couldn't believe it...it was exactly what I wanted.... Jim, along with Mike Lorenzo, worked with me and gave me a great price! I took it immediately. I would definitely recommend Grossinger on North Avenue for great service, great price, and especially being so friendly and so courteous.....I walked away having 2 new friends! What great guys!!! More
