Grossinger City Autoplex

We have purchased three new vehicles over the years. Our fourth purchase at Grossinger, in October, was one of our best experiences to date. That being said here are our pros and cons: Pro: Our salesperson, Matt Kockler, excelled at giving basic information about the vehicles and demonstrating features of the cars. We enjoyed the fact that he was pleasant, knowledgeable and at no time pushy. Pro: Friendly staff, good selection Con: After choosing our vehicle the people we met became more stressful. Especially, when we sat down with Dennis (financing). Dennis made us feel rushed. He surprised us with considerably different numbers from the woman Matt brought over on the floor to give us an idea of payments. This threw us a curve ball. Instead of being patient, and and looking at what we had in writing from the floor, Dennis was pushy and condescending. Not a huge surprise from a dealer and not a deal breaker but no worthy of a 5 star rating. Con: Before we decided to purchase, our salesperson, Matt, said he should be able to find a cargo mat/liner for our vehicle (the demo model was missing one). At the end of the transaction Matt chose to ignore us and our quest for a cargo mat which was disappointing. We did follow-up one time after the sale but we never heard back from Grossinger. Needless to say we didn't get a cargo mat/liner. More

If you are looking for a car dealership where the employees are friendly, professional and ready to go that extra mile, then Grossinger is it. After checking out two other Cadillac dealers, there wa employees are friendly, professional and ready to go that extra mile, then Grossinger is it. After checking out two other Cadillac dealers, there was no comparison. Keith Herrera did a outstanding job of keeping me informed and locating the right vehicle for me in a timely fashion. The dreaded finance man Rudy Jones put me at ease and answered all of my many questions with a smile and showing his expertise all the while. This two guys really give it that personal touch! Over-all, the experience was very good, and I would have no problem recommending others. More

My overall experience was pretty good, but my experience after has been rather aggravating because getting my $500 debit taken care of has been difficult. This doesn't all fall on Ruben Gonzalez mind you, I have also spoken with Dennis Crockett and Rudy the Finance Manager. This doesn't give me a very comforting feeling and what the future may hold customer service wise. But up to this point they were pretty good. More

Everyone was great, Brain took care of us with the business app (a little issue there but everything went well), Matt took care of the other paperwork and showed us everything (all the cars), Eloy fou business app (a little issue there but everything went well), Matt took care of the other paperwork and showed us everything (all the cars), Eloy found the cars we wanted in far less time then we expected. I can not remember the finance guys name (Rob maybe) he got me out real quick. Jay Glotzer I think that was his name gave me great advice on maintaince for the cars. They understood that it is a business I own and manage just like they do and they treated me well. On top of all that Brain and Eloy drove one of the cars to us that night. I had a really great experience purchasing my first car. Especially considering I went back to this dealership about 4 times over the span of about a month and a half or so, to test drive a variety of other Especially considering I went back to this dealership about 4 times over the span of about a month and a half or so, to test drive a variety of other cars, before selecting my Scion xD. I had started working with Eloi, and due to a variety of circumstance changes of when i wanted to get the car and trade in the other one, ended up picking up my new car and doing all the final paperwork with Matt. Both of the guys were great- walked thru all the steps with me and really took their time to make sure that I was happy with the experience. A big thank you to Matt for the purchase, and another to Clayton (who installed my remote start/alarm) who was very patient with me while teaching me how the new system worked. Brian Carlson was great to work with. We came in not exactly knowing what we wanted, and he helped us not only find a car, but got us a great deal. We just purchased a 2010 Cadillac SRX from Grossinger City Autoplex. While we got a good deal on the car, it was truly the detailed customer service given to us by salesman Keith Herrera that ultimately City Autoplex. Keith, and GM Brian, were great throughout the entire process and made the experience very smooth and enjoyable. What has impressed us since buying the car is Keith's continued support of us as customers (often times the salesperson forgets your name after you sign the papers and leave the dealership). He's a car guy through-and-through and it shows in his work. For example, after taking our SRX in for detailing, he personally made sure the porters re-cleaned the wheels when they weren't as clean as a car buff would hope. We would definitely buy a car from Keith in the future, and nothing against the other salespeople, but if you are interested in a new Cadillac, I would highly recommend working with Keith at City Autoplex. Kevin was very knowledgable about the products and services that Grossinger offered, was very helpful throughou the process, and was able to help me land the vehicle that I wanted. Kevin also was able to help me navigate the entire process of purchasing a vehicle from the start to the finish. One other aspect that helped a great deal was the fact that at not point did he pressure me into purchasing a vehicle that I was not comfortable with. I told him what I was looking for, what my budget was, and that I did not want to price myself out; and Kevin was able to help me reach my goals. Most other dealers would have pressured me into purchasing a new vehicle, but Kevin was actually looking out for my best interests, as well. Again, easily the best car-shopping experience that I had ever had. More
