I had the worst experience at Orlando Kia East. I originally went to Kia North and test drove a Kia Soul and I regret my decision to not go back to that dealership to buy it. I originally scheduled an appointment online for a specific car and when I arrived, Jim, who I schedule the appointment with was not even there. It was his day off and to make it worse, the car I had asked him about was not there either! I ended up working with a girl who had only been there for 3 weeks. It was pretty obvious that I knew more about the Kia Soul just by doing basic research online. There was a lot of "well I think" and "I'll check to make sure". This was extremely frustrating. It took me three days to go through the entire process, which should really only have taken 3 hours. I finally negotiated a price with one of the rude sales managers, who made it very clear that we were even lucky to be talking to him. He had no customer service skills, both him and the sales person were trying to make up excuses for Jim. Once I showed them the email discussion I had with him, they both apologized and couldn't explain why he made an appointment on his day off and told me that they didn't know why he said the car I wanted was on the lot. They were desperately trying to sell me a different Kia Soul that I did not want. The next day I came back to do financing, when I then found out that we would have to wait an hour to even talk to someone so I ended up just singing papers, transferring the tag and taking care of insurance. Jim says "I'll be back in just a minute, I need to get something". After 20 minutes of waiting I finally said something to the lady at the front desk. When we find out he's back in the office on the phone, trying to figure out the insurance. After he realized my frustration we decided that I would come back the next day to do financing. When I came in the next day, the same thing happened. They wanted me to sit around and wait for finance for an hour, which at that point was just ridiculous. So we started to look over the manual. As we are looking through it, I realized that it was for the 2011 model. At that point I couldn't believe I was dealing with such nonsense and I don't think Jim could believe it either. Overall, I ended up getting the price I wanted but not the car I wanted. They ended up losing some money on the car they sold me because it had upgrades that I didn't want/need. I am very happy with the car but extremely disappointed in the service and hassle it took me to buy the car. I felt the need to write this review because I cannot believe that this dealership is rated almost a 5, there has to be coercing going on because my experience was far from 100%! More

My experience at Orlando Kia east was outstanding. Eric Flores was my sales consultant. He had a trainee by the name of J.P. who actually brought me around the lot looking at different new vehicles while E Flores was my sales consultant. He had a trainee by the name of J.P. who actually brought me around the lot looking at different new vehicles while Eric was finishing up a delivery for a customer. J.P.'s knowledge of the Rio/GDI was excellent. He didn't use very much of the mechanical terms when breaking down the vehicle's features. I totally understood everything he told me about the vehicle. Great Job!! Once I had chosen the vehicle I wanted and test drove it, we all sat down and started to negotiate numbers. I didn't feel pressured at all in to trying to accept something I didn't want or could afford. Both Eric and J.P. were very patient with me through out this process. After 5 attempts to reach some type of agreement, we finally felt we had reached an agreement that would fit our budget. I couldn't be more happier with my new Rio. Infact I had texted a co-worker while I was at the dealership and informed her of my new purchase along with my great experience I had at Orlando Kia. We both had talked about looking at new Kia's during the week. She informed me that she would probably come out to Orlando Kia east within a week or so to see if she could also get a deal like I did. Great Job! Eric and J.P. were really good at keeping things in an even keel as we tried to reach some type of deal that fit MY budget. More

Beware of this dealer's pricing policy. All autos on the lot have a very unique "Adjustment" charge for the Orlando location. In short all car prices are jacked up 15% to 20% above MSRP. There's an extra sticker next to the manufacturer's sticker. Additionally, on the same sticker is another additional $1500 for about $300 of dealer installed options. Unfortunately this is on each and every vehicle on the lot...whether you want the options or not. Their explanation for these outrageous charges was that their Kias' are so valuable and great looking that the charge is warranted then added..."let's negotiate." Quick answer for all those not gullible enough to fall for this ruse should be...."GET LOST." Save yourself the trouble. Steer clear and deal with another dealership with honest management and pricing. Remember...a wise man once said, "There's a sucker born every minute." More
