Fantastic Buying Experience I purchased my 2015 GMC Terrain from Goldstein GMC. Lee Pelton went out of his way to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable with my subs I purchased my 2015 GMC Terrain from Goldstein GMC. Lee Pelton went out of his way to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable with my substantial investment. He answered all of my questions with ease and made sure the negotiation process was simple and fast. Upon delivery he set up my Onstar and showed me all the functions. What really impressed me was the phone call the next day to make sure I had no questions then a week later to follow up. I will be honest, initially I had test drove others and wanted to test drive more vehicles and look at other options but I stopped that day when I realized how pleasant and respectful Lee had treated me. I would recommend Lee to anyone looking for their new vehicle. More

They promised me they could get a specific vehicle from another dealership. That morning we confirmed a pick up time of 1:30 PM for the vehicle. After moving my multiple business meetings and re-arranging my kids pick up schedule to accommodate the time, when I arrived they told me they never got the vehicle. In fact, I eventually found out that they never even had a chance to get the vehicle. Goldstein never got a response from the dealership that had the vehicle in stock. It was all a lie and a ploy to get me back into their showroom. More

The staff was very informative and helpful. Very pleasent and courtious. Our purchase was easy and not pressured by the sales team and gave us everything in the Terrian that we wanted. I had been shopping for almost 3 months testing out all the 7 seater SUVS that are out in the market that interested me. I checked out the Audi A7 (Latham location - great customer service), Acura MDX (No the 7 seater SUVS that are out in the market that interested me. I checked out the Audi A7 (Latham location - great customer service), Acura MDX (Northeast Acura - horrible sales people), BWM X5 (good customer service), Mazda CX 9 (Rensselaer location - so so customer service) - ok i could continue but you get the point :), I went to Goldstein to test drive the buick and GMC acadia and fell in love with the acadia. I dealt with Glen who is the GM and John Kasarkian the sales individual and they were terrific! It was the best non pushy purchase that I have ever had with a vehicle. They were great at follow ups and made you feel like they were honored to work with you and have you as a customer. I felt like I got a great deal and worked with me on getting the best interest rate (thank you Emery!) I will highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle! More
I chose Goldstein to do business with because within two minutes of looking at vehicles a sales rep came out and helped us. I did not have the greatest credit score but they got me approved for a 2013 gmc terrain in our budget and with affordable monthly payments. I definitely will be going back to do more business in the future! All around great experience and Goldsteins was not my only cardealership we went to, but my number one choice and I couldn't wait to go back!! A+ will be refering friends and family! More
I have a 2007 GMC Acadia that jumped timing due to the chains premature wear problem they are having, I had the car checked out at a local shop and found the problem and he informed me of the extended war chains premature wear problem they are having, I had the car checked out at a local shop and found the problem and he informed me of the extended warrantee for this car on the timing chain problem after taking it apart and visually seeing it. The service rep Carlos called me and told me the motor was shot and needed a full rebuild without even bringing it into the shop just by turning the key, he then tried to fast talk me by saying the timing jump was caused by internal engine failure wich I know was not the issue, he and the manager were trying to get around warrantee say ing it's not covered but after talking to GMC home service in Detroit it was confirmed its covered for 10 years or 120000 whatever comes first. I was extremely angry and frustrated with how I was talked to and treated and how they run a shop I will never do business there agin. More

Its 2012, regardless if your male or female any car dealership should give you the benefit of being educated and knowledgable! The sticker prices for these vehicle are well over what the cars are worth at the beginning of the year, let alone at the end of the year! Please select a different dealership. I also visited Capitalland GMC on the same day, they were willing to honor the fact I at least had taken time to evaluate other prices online and would match those deals! I did purchase a different vehicle I had been looking for/wanted.. I WOULDN'T recommend this dealership.. I think the sales manager should reconsider they way business is being done. Absolutely NO customer service! I also think that the sales staff should feel silly attempting to promote the behavior! A vehicle and customer service is IMPORTANT!! They should want a 50/50 split.. We made a tongue and cheek offer and to the salesman to think about it and call me with an offer. I was to meet him a week later but was held up at work and made it in a day later. He was very busy so another salesman began to work with us. First question killed the deal. He asked where do you need your payments to be. I like a fool gave him a number. He like a fool fixated on that number and failed to hear anything I said after that. Had he listened he would have heard the offer to pay in full for the vehicle. He after almost a half hour of waiting and talking he come back with numbers that were irrelevant. First , their “BIG DEMO SAVINGS” was $2,500 off the $50,000 sticker! I am sure they could have done better if they thought I could afford the vehicle. This is where they REALLY pissed me off! After telling him that I would pay in full he came back to me holding my key to my Kia and telling me that maybe I needed to look at a cheaper vehicle. I don’t need to go to a car dealer to bet get insulted. Learn to listen to what customers are saying not to how they are dressed or what they are driving in with. Peter Cappiello President F.
