I was in the market for a new car for the first time in a long while. I did not want to experience the "woman shopping for a car ALONE" syndrome. Rick put me completely at ease from the moment I walked in. H long while. I did not want to experience the "woman shopping for a car ALONE" syndrome. Rick put me completely at ease from the moment I walked in. He was able to fully answer all of my questions, and helped me make all the decisions I needed to make about my purchase. I never felt pressured or felt like I was getting a hard sell. Rick was very helpful and enthusiastic, and I could tell he genuinely believed in his product. And best of all, the price was right. I hope Rick is still there when I'm ready to buy my next Honda. More
Sales people were pleasant and not pushy, they answered all our questions. The final price for the car was hassle free. We thought the price was very fair and competitive. Friendly Honda's price was the lo all our questions. The final price for the car was hassle free. We thought the price was very fair and competitive. Friendly Honda's price was the lowest of the 3 dealers we visited. Overall a very good car buying experience. More
Really great experience. Brian Grunow from sales called me in response to my email inquiry, and we set up an appointment for that day. We had worked with him a few years ago when my husband bought his car me in response to my email inquiry, and we set up an appointment for that day. We had worked with him a few years ago when my husband bought his car, and he remembered us and treated us like old friends. All the paperwork was really easy and I picked up my car the next day. Colin from financing was a pleasure to work with also. All in all, a great, quick and easy car buying experience. More
It was a great experience from start to finish. No pressure - we were allowed to work at our pace. Dealership thought of all the little touches - free drinks in the showroom, car mats included in veh pressure - we were allowed to work at our pace. Dealership thought of all the little touches - free drinks in the showroom, car mats included in vehicle, touch-up paint given at delivery, full tank of gas, nice key chain.... Yes, thinking of all the small details indeed leaves a lasting impression. I would recommend my salesman Rick and Friendly Honda to anyone. Their name says it all. More

The only problem is for some reason a sales mgr felt the need to call Jim into his office after my plates were put on my new car but before everyting could be finalized. And all i can see through the glass need to call Jim into his office after my plates were put on my new car but before everyting could be finalized. And all i can see through the glass is finger pointing and hands going up in the air.. Really couldn't that have waited till after my sale was completed not in the middle of it.... More

I have decided to give you a chance to rectify this... My engine light came on and my cruise control light started flashing so I stopped at an auto parts store and had them do a test. The code was P0304 which means that my fourth cylinder was misfiring. I priced out plugs and wires for my car ($39.95 for the wires and $4 ea. for the plugs total $55.95 ... oh yeah, all OEM parts) Since I am not a mechanic I figured about an hour for me to do the job. Remember we are talking a 4 cylinder car here... BUT, today was my wife's birthday and she was at home so I decided to take the car to Friendly Honda where I had bought it. I dropped off the car and explained to the service salesman that it was bucking and ran on only 3 cylinders at times. I gave him the code and told him what it meant and that all they needed to do was probably change the plugs and wires, but also to find out why my cruise light was flashing. The next day I got a call saying that they had to change the plugs and wires and that it would cost me $310. I hit the ceiling... After being explained a $97 and change labor rate, a $110 and change parts charge and that I was lucky because the mechanic that looked at my car had worked for years at a Subaru dealership... (My car is a 2006 Saab 92X... a GM product that is part Saab and Subaru... {I was told at that time that I had a Subaru engine}) Well how lucky was I to get him. I told him the prices don't add up and he told me that they did a test and I was charged $65 for it????? I told him I gave the salesman the numbers (P0304) and explained what they meant... he wrote them down also... I gave him these so that I would not be charged for this test.. Yet I was... He was not going to budge on the price at all and tried to justify the test saying that their testing machine was better and tested for more things... Well, it may be better but it produced the same results... Am I now stuck with this? I guess so but, Friendly Honda turned out not to be so friendly and instead proved to be a RIP OFF... So, every blog out there, every directory or any place that carries the name Friendly Honda will now include a copy of my BAD EXPERIENCE with them... BUYER BEWARE OF FRIENDLY HONDA.. BUT... Wanting to be fair I called and emailed this complaint to the Service Manager Don Spaeth. Don wasn't happy with this email, but to his credit he did agree to waive the $65 test. So without tax the bill had been $294 then minus the $65 test it left me with $229 plus tax. I agreed to this. I went to pick my car up and there was a problem. Richard Hill (name on bill) said they couldn't get a set of spark plug wires for my car that had a wire long enough to reach my fourth cylinder. They said the Saab had a different wire configuration. Hmmm wasn't I told that it was a Subaru engine???? I told them to just charge me for the spark plugs and labor and I'll take it somewhere else. That's when the "VOODOO MATHEMATICS" started. One hour labor in the original quote now turned into 2 hours labor (at $97 an hour = $194 plus $110 parts = $304 plus the $65 test now equaled a total of $369.00 plus tax. But they saId they weren't going to charge me for the test ($65) so they told me not to even worry about adding that up... Then they started subtracting... minus $70 for wires take off the $65 and the first time I owed around $159... then the real argument started and somehow I owed $129. Don the manager got involved and I explained that he was doing the old 11 finger trick.. counting backwards 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 plus 5 = 11. They finally admitted that 1 hour labor was for the plugs and wires and the 2nd hour labor was for the light (that $65 test). Lets see $97 plus $65 = $162 for a 10 minute test. After an intense half hour loud dispute they stopped their Voodoo Math and agreed that it was only 1/2 hour for the labor to install the plugs and $36 for the plugs plus tax... My original point. They still figured it out by the backward finger counting trick but now they were only off by about $2 so I paid and left knowing that I didn't receive the intended screwing they had planned, or so I thought. The car stalls now when I stop (yes even with the new plugs) I did sign the paper knowing that I still need wires and that the 4th cylinder wire is bad which will be their excuse for the stalling now. Hmm didn't stall when I stopped when running on only 3 cylinders before with the old plugs. Hopefully a Real Repair Shop will iron out the mess caused by Friendly Honda. Hopefully I can have my trust restored in dealerships in the future. But for now... every blog out there, every directory or any place that carries the name Friendly Honda will now include a copy of my BAD EXPERIENCE with them... I restate...
