Jim Libutti was a friendly and courteous sales representative. He made me feel comfortable. I think I paid a fair price for my Honda Civic. I BOUGHT SEVERAL CARS FROM THIS DEALSHIP BEFORE IT CHANGED OWNERS..sINCE THEN THE QUALITY OF THE SERVICE DEPT IS VERY POOR. I WENT IN FOR A CLUTCH JOB AND WHEN I DROVE HOME THE TEMP GAUGE PEGGED...SOM CHANGED OWNERS..sINCE THEN THE QUALITY OF THE SERVICE DEPT IS VERY POOR. I WENT IN FOR A CLUTCH JOB AND WHEN I DROVE HOME THE TEMP GAUGE PEGGED...SOMEONE TOOK ALL THE COOLANT OUT AND NEVER REPLACED IT. THIS PAST JUNE I BLEW A HOSE AND NEEDED A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP AND A HOSE..I TALKED WITH THE SERVICE AGENT SCOTT ,,AND TOLD HIM IF MY DISCONTENT ON THE PHONE..WE CAME TO A SETTLED AMOUNT OF 350 DOLLARS..DUE TO THE PREVIOUS SCREW UP.BY THE WAY FOR THIS RELATIVELY NORMAL JOB IT TOOK 5 DAYS ! WHEN I WENT IN TO GET MY CAR SCOTT WAS CONVENIENTLY OFF THAT DAY...THE BILL WAS WAY OVER 500 DOLLARS.. THE NEXT WEEK I TOOK MY CAR TO MY USUAL INSPECTION STATION...AND IT FAILED DUE TO THE POWER STEERING WAS LEAKING...I WAS TOLD TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND HAVE THEM FINISH THE JOB.. I TOLD THE SERVICE REP I WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH SCOTT. HE WAS DECEIVING LIAR AND I DONT TRUST HIM...IN CONFIDENCE ONE OF YOUR REPS ADMITTED TO ME SCOTT TAKES ON TOO MANY CUTOMERS AND SCFREWS UP FREQUENTLY,, AN HOUR AFYER LEAVING MY CAR THERE TO GET THE LEAK FIXED,,I GOT A CALL .THR REP SAID MY CAR IS TOO OLD AND CANT BE FIXED,, THAT DID IT ! I FOUND A REAPIR SHOP THAT FIXED A SPLIT MEATL PIPIE AND WAS TOLD THAT THE HOSE THEY SAID WAS NOT AVAILABLE WAS A REPLACEABLE PART,THIS DEALER SHOULD LOSE THEIR FRANCISE IF THEY ARE DOING THIS POOR HANDLING OF CUTOMERS...I AM A RACE STEWARD AT MANY SCCA RACE TRACKS AND KNOW MANY OTHER DEALERS,,,THEY AGREE WITH ME THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED,,,AND I HAD FRIENDLY BMC LOSE THEIR FRANCISE IN THE 70'S AND I HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER FOR JAPAN..FOR CUSTIMER RELATIONS...I HOPE I DONT HAVE TO CALL THEM FRIENDLY BETTER SHAPE UP...IM NOT GOING BACK THERE A VERY IRATE CUTOMER ! After much thought, I chose no as far as recommendation for a couple reasons. The salespeople were attentive and friendly but I felt like the price I was given over the phone increased once at the dealersh for a couple reasons. When I brought it up the sales person said, "I can't believe Dana would give you incorrect info over the phone." To me that meant either I was a liar or I was insinuating that she was a liar. I felt like that was intimidating. The other reason was that I had forgotten to take a NY Yankees license plate frame off my trade in. It did not occur to me until I had gotten home. I called the next day to see about recovering it but apparently it was thrown away. I feel that whoever did the plate switch(seeing that the frame was of personal nature and not just another dealership's nameplate) should have put the personal frame on the new car or at least thrown it somewhre in the new car. Since that did not happen I thought that the dealership would at least be kind enough to replace my Yankees frame. Instead, I was just told someone threw it out and to enjoy my new car. I just think your dealership could do better. More
Customer service in the beginning was okay. When the contract was done they made mistakes and try to make me pay more money then I agreed to. Spoke with the General manager. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. This is my first Honda and SUV. So far the CR-V is great. Having a ball driving it. It rides really nice and easy to handle. My son and I came to Friendly Honda to lease his first car. As a mother, I wanted a vehicle that was safe, reliable, and economical. My son wanted a car that looked sporty and was "cool". We found exactly what we both wanted in the Civic LX. I explained to Jim Libutti what we were looking for in a car and he was terrific! He was very attentive. listened, and engaged both of us in the process. My son loves his car - all his friends now want one. Given our experience with Jim and Honda I am considering selling my Rav 4 and leasing or buying a Honda. I know that, given this first experience in car ownership, my son will be a lifelong Honda customer! More
