Good Service, But Unwanted Charges I'd still recommend Autobarn to any VW owner since I've had very good experiences in the past. I recently had my transmission fluid, coolant, and oil changed but was very disappointed to see $80 worth of extra charges for a tire rotation and windshield wiper replacement on the bill. My previous visit I was blown away by the honesty of the service staff, but this really feels like a setback. I'll come back but will watch my bill like a hawk next time. I have no complaints with the service itself. More

I got my oil change the same day, but had to get the part for the door fix ordered. He messaged me as soon as it came in and scheduled an appointment to get me in. He also made sure to keep me updated throughout the entire process. I appreciate Terrance's efforts and help. More

Outrageous experience I took my car towed to service because I had a problem with the power steering. I got a quote for almost 9 thousand dollars, for replacing alternator, I took my car towed to service because I had a problem with the power steering. I got a quote for almost 9 thousand dollars, for replacing alternator, battery, water pump, vacuum pump and a few other things. The recommendation was to throw my car away and buy a new one, because my car was worth less than that. Next day I got an email saying that if I was selling my car, I could be put in contact with someone that maybe was interested in buying it (I guess for pennies). I took my car to a different mechanic, and after checking it, he found nothing. NOTHING! The car is running again. Alternator/pulley is charging the battery at its normal amperage, the battery is good, etc. I did not pay a single dollar for parts. This was an outrageous experience. I will never go back to service my car there. More

High pressure and confusing pitch to try to get me to purchase an extended warranty from the "generous owner". Never received a copy of the service that was done on the car at the dealership. Once purchase was complete, no one came into the car with me to explain how anything worked or the features. Left there upset instead of happy having just got a new car. Took all the fun out of car buying. Love the car - would never buy one there again though. More
