Easy car purchase during quarantine Was able to buy a new car very easily from the Evanston VW team. Before arriving i was able to work with Mario to understand all the numbers, and have Was able to buy a new car very easily from the Evanston VW team. Before arriving i was able to work with Mario to understand all the numbers, and have a quote in hand on what i would be expected to pay. Upon arriving the vehicle was already pulled up front and ready for a test drive. After the team made the purchase process very easy and transparent and i was able to leave the lot after a few hours in a new vehicle. However after delivery i noticed the car had a few dents, after a call with Mario I was able to schedule service and a loaner, and made the appointment painless. Would definitely recommend this dealer to a friend, and consider it when my other vehicle is ready for replacement. My only complaint after growing up in the suburbs is parking at the dealer is extremely hard due to the small lot, and ended up having to street park during my few visits. More

Always a great experience! The service staff is always friendly, helpful and are great communicators. I brought our car in to fix a flat tire and bent wheel, My husband asked if The service staff is always friendly, helpful and are great communicators. I love The Evanston Autobarn and there service division has until this last time been incredible. My last experience however was not what I have come to expect from Autobarn of Evanston. I dropped of my ca has until this last time been incredible. My last experience however was not what I have come to expect from Autobarn of Evanston. I dropped of my car for 1 1/2 service and wasn’t called all day even when I was specially told I would be called to get pickers up. Not only was I not called but by car was kept overnight without any form of communication. The next day I called naturally, upset and was told basically that it wasn’t anyone’s fault they had just been understaffed. I finally did get an apology from the service tech, although he didn’t even offer to comp my touch up paint I had purchased or do anything else to make it right. More
