rip off Took my 2009 Taurus to Capitol Ford in Raleigh with a P0605 engine code. They wanted to replace the PCM for over $1000, and said it would take 2 days Took my 2009 Taurus to Capitol Ford in Raleigh with a P0605 engine code. They wanted to replace the PCM for over $1000, and said it would take 2 days to get the part. They charged me $107 for "troubleshooting" which I am sure they didn't do except for Maybe reading the code. Also charged me $16 for "supplies" that I am sure they didn't use. Also they did not return my calls. I took the car to Crossroads Ford in Wake Forest, and they fixed the problem by reprogramming the PCM. They charged me $221, which included driving the car so that the reprogrammed PCM could "learn". Crossroads gets grades of A+, number 1, Capitol Ford gets an F for failure. More

Of those hundreds if not thousands of salespeople there is not one that I would recommend over Jason Griffith! His high level of professionalism coupled with his outstanding knowledge of the product are what make him second to none. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE We have had several service experiences with the heavy truck service and all were less than desirable experiences. Unfortunately we had little choice We have had several service experiences with the heavy truck service and all were less than desirable experiences. Unfortunately we had little choice for service on an E-350 truck without going out of town. Our latest experience is now into the 4th week of being without our truck to replace the cracked exhaust manifolds. We've had the engine replaced in this truck ( twice ) , once under warranty, by them and each time it took 4 - 5 weeks. It's almost impossible to get anyone to talk with you or return a call. I've had to physically go by there twice to check on the progress this time. I was told last Wednesday that they had it in the shop and would be working on it Thursday and should be ready on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. I called this morning ( Tuesday ) and was told they had one side done and the part for the other side should be in tomorrow and they may have it ready Thursday or Friday of this week. Very disappointing. Oh, we also bought 3 trucks from them last year. Experience with that was not much different from the service experience. More

An Amazing Difference I've bought multiple Fords from the dealership in Wake Forest and contacted them about potentially purchasing a new vehicle. I was looking for specif I've bought multiple Fords from the dealership in Wake Forest and contacted them about potentially purchasing a new vehicle. I was looking for specific features (that I found on several window stickers online) so imagine my surprise when I was told by that dealership those features were not available yet. I'd also contacted Capital and Doug reached out to me very quickly. He called me on Friday night to discuss what I was looking for and found a vehicle which seemed to be a match. He then told me that he was at the dealership until 9 pm that night and if I wanted to come in and look that would be great. This really was the least pressure car sale I've ever been apart of - Capital offered me a very fair and reasonable deal on my trade-in. I told Doug exactly what I wanted and he found it for me. He and the finance guy John (who was also fantastic) told me to go home and sleep on the deal (as they had to bring the car in from another dealer) and that if I changed my mind, that was okay. In the end Doug and John knew exactly what I was looking for and I was worried that the payment was going to slowly creep up - not only did they get me what I wanted but at a lower payment. Doug also really understood the vehicle and all the technology and spent the time to go over all of it with me even though I was trading in another Ford (at the other dealership I'd usually had to explain the technology to their sales people ). Over 2 days, I was in the dealership no more than 3 hours total. Considering the last car I purchased took over 6 hours this made me very happy. I'd highly recommend Doug to anyone. He was great to work with. More
