Prior to writing this review, I reached out to Daniel via the Baierl contact page. I saw his responses to a number of poor reviews on Google and wanted to give him the opportunity to address my concerns. Aft the Baierl contact page. After two weeks of not receiving a response, it became clear that there is no value in the platitudes he leaves online. A couple of months ago I purchased a Prius for my daughter. It was a good experience. Now, we were in the market for an electric vehicle for ourselves and again considered Baierl Toyota as I like to show loyalty when treated well. Before moving to PA I purchased 7 cars in a 5 year period from the same guy/dealer because of that loyalty. After researching my options, I decided on a Tesla Model 3. I found quite a few on Carvana as well as one at Baierl Toyota. I decided to do the deal locally given my past experience. This time my experience was less than acceptable. There seemed to be no desire to work with me. I was offered $120 off of the asking price if I would finance through the dealership at an interest rate more than 4 points higher than my bank. When I challenged that I was offered the same rate as my bank. I decided to not bother with the $120 as my time and credit are worth more than that. Then I was told I would need to come back the next day as they wouldn't be able to cash me out even though I rearranged my schedule to accommodate a "smooth sales process" as promised by Tommy N. When we returned the next day the finance guy started out with a chip on his shoulder. His demeanor was aggressive. After we signed the mileage/odometer statement, he changed the mileage on the form. When I questioned his actions he got even more aggressive and told me not to worry about it and that they do it all the time. He said all the documents we were signing we meaningless and you could "wipe your xxx with them." While they may not be legal documents, if I can wipe with them, I'd rather not be bothered with having to sign them. I suggested he get his attitude in check or find us someone else to work with. He was able to change course and by the end of the deal was much friendlier. The next day I discovered two things. The first was that there wasn't a heated steering wheel as advertised on the website and there was a cable hanging down in the left front wheel well. I reached out to Joe McMahon, as he sent me an email saying he would always be available if I needed him. I also reached out to Tommy. I followed up later in the day with a phone call to Tommy and after not hearing back, texted him. I did finally receive a response from Tommy telling me to take my concerns to the Tesla dealer as it was still under warranty. In addition to all of this, the CarFax shows that Bariel Toyota performed an oil and filter change as part of the intake process. That is simply not possible on an electric vehicle. Based on my past experience I have lost any sense of confidence in Baierl Toyota. As such, when I go to purchase my plug-in hybrid in the next 2 months, Baierl Toyota will not be in consideration for my business. Do better folks! More

My service advisor Noah Earl was excellent. I was in for an inspection and 15,000 mile checkup. Of course i showed up with both an expired registration and insurance card. Noah tracked down the new registration with the state and worked with me on getting the insurance card. In this day and age it was a pleasure to see someone offering great customer service! More
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER, Purchased a used truck at this dealership after driving from another state. The vehicle was fairly priced and appropriately equipped. SO, here is the back story. After driving here from another state, I picked up the vehicle on March 7th(Cash deal with trade-in) Upon my return home I took the car to a local dealer to give it the one over, all was good except for the missing spare tire and floor mats (they were in the website pictures). I contacted my salesperson, who cavalierly stated (via email) that he can do nothing but thanked me for purchasing from Baeirl Toyota.I followed up with him and he stated again, nothing he can , I asked to have a manager call me, this never happened. I called and emailed the sales person again and stated that I was never contacted on the date he provided. Today, I finally had the opportunity to talk to a manager and he basically stated that you bought the car as it sits and that if it was missing, there is nothing he can do. He did state that he can get me a spare tire but i will not hold my breath on that with their track record of timely communication. I told the manager that I will start a social media thread on the total lack of customer service. He then asked if i was holding him hotage with a social media posting, and stated so if i get you the car mats will you not post. I stated emphatically that I am writing the post either way. I just thought that they would do the right thing and provide the mats...alas lesson learned here. NEVER do business with them again and let the public and all the folks i know in the Pittsburgh area not to do any business with them. More

Fantastic Job. ..the battery on our Prius died over the weekend and AAA jumped it so I could get it to the dealership on Sunday. I was surprised when I received a call around 8:30 on Monday that they already diagnosed the problem but suggested some services that the car needed. I was really surprised when Bryan called a few hours later that the car was finished. We picked the car up around 3:30 pm and everything was perfect. I can't thank you enough and I HIGHLY recommend the Baierl dealership!!!!! More
