We’re sorry to hear you’re frustrated with your experience. MINI does provide extended coverage for footwell modules for up to 15 years or 186,000 miles, which reflects the brand’s commitment to supporting its customers. When a footwell module fails due to a covered defect, repairs are eligible under MINI’s warranty guidelines. In this case, our technicians determined the issue was caused by outside influence rather than a defect in the module itself, which unfortunately made it ineligible for warranty coverage under MINI policy. We understand this can be disappointing, and we’re always happy to review concerns and discuss findings in greater detail with our customers.
