I bought my 2018 Passat SEL from Smithtown Volkswagen. I am always able to schedule my service visits easily, and I also receive texts and email confirmations, as well as reminders. My service advisor I am always able to schedule my service visits easily, and I also receive texts and email confirmations, as well as reminders. My service advisor was Noah, he is knowledgeable and understands Volkswagen systems as he concisely writes up my concerns for the mechanics. Afterwards he explains everything to me in a way that is easy to understand. I trust my vehicle and my safety to Smithtown Volkswagen. More

I dealt with the sales rep for 2 hours and got the price I want however, the finance guy never showed me the car price and forgot (or purposefully since he hiked up the purchase price) to hand me the bill o I want however, the finance guy never showed me the car price and forgot (or purposefully since he hiked up the purchase price) to hand me the bill of sales copy. I have called back and left messages a couple of times however, never received call back from him. When I picked up the car, I found couple of dings and scratches in the front and side. I told about them to finance person since sales rep was busy; and he gave me a slip about where the dings are and told me the service dept will call me in few days. It's been over 2 weeks and I never got the call. Also, sales rep told me that he is going to call me to give me some of the promotional items and of course he never contacted me except to ask me if I have a car key for other car that I test drove. Overall, no aftercare nor customer service. Non at all. More

Salesperson and finance guy were nice. The dealership as a whole needs to improve their service levels. 2 times have been there to purchase a used vehicle and had issues with car both time The dealership as a whole needs to improve their service levels. 2 times have been there to purchase a used vehicle and had issues with car both times. Nothing was done to fix issue. Service can’t be trusted to do what is right for the customer. Never will bring my vehicle for service at this dealership. More
