Viva Toyota of Las Cruces is a dishonest and disreputable dealership. Shopping for a car with my wife, exploring options and looking for something that would work well for her. She liked the Rav4 so naturall dealership. Shopping for a car with my wife, exploring options and looking for something that would work well for her. She liked the Rav4 so naturally we went to the local Toyota and test drove it. The salesman we were approached by claimed to also be the finance manager and over the course of conversation he told us that no one was selling cars for at or under MSRP and we wouldn't find deals right now, mind you we never began to talk about price. Any dealer that thinks its ok to rip off customers by adding dealer markup doesn't deserve to be in business and certainly won't have mine. We ended up going down the street and purchasing from Borman and had a great buying experience. More

I bought a used Toyota RAV4 from this dealership in June 2022. The car is acceptable, although I paid a premium price for it since there was a shortage of used cars due to the pandemic. The problem I’ve had 2022. The car is acceptable, although I paid a premium price for it since there was a shortage of used cars due to the pandemic. The problem I’ve had is they have not yet sent me the permanent plates or title and it’s been 7 months since I bought it. I live in Texas and that’s where they are supposed to register it. I keep getting the runaround about why they haven’t accomplished this. According to the latest excuse, the person doing the registrations did it wrong, then they hired a 3rd party company to do it, then the Texas DMV rejected it because the inspection was more than 90 days ago. I’m having to hire an attorney. I really want to just bring the car back and have my money refunded since I’m tired of dealing with them. The manager is useless. I’ve called the Toyota corporate office and filed a complaint, all they did was refer me to the manager. Worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. Definitely stay away from them!! More
