I would definitely recommend this dealership. Title: Disappointing Experience with Honda of Downtown LA I recently went to Honda of Downtown LA to complete a lease buyback on my vehicle, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. LA I recently went to Honda of Downtown LA to complete a lease buyback on my vehicle, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite initially being greeted by friendly staff, the process quickly turned sour. Firstly, I was kept waiting for nearly 30 days before being informed that the financing fell through due to paperwork errors on their end. To make matters worse, they doubted the validity of my Social Security number, despite providing all necessary documentation. This not only prolonged the process but also left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. While I appreciate the efforts of some staff members to assist me, I cannot overlook the apparent lack of organization and professionalism displayed by the dealership. It was disheartening to encounter such obstacles, especially when I had followed all procedures diligently. Furthermore, instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, Honda of Downtown LA shifted the blame onto the bank. However, upon contacting the bank myself, I discovered that this was not the case. It was only after correcting the misinformation and seeking assistance directly from the bank that I was able to resolve the issue. Overall, my experience with Honda of Downtown LA was disappointing. Despite their friendly demeanor, their handling of my situation left much to be desired. While I would rate them a three out of five for their amiability, their questionable practices and lack of accountability prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending them to others. In conclusion, I urge Honda of Downtown LA to reassess their procedures and prioritize customer satisfaction to avoid similar incidents in the future. More

I bought the car last month it had some scratches on body and Rim. We talked to the sales Guy name Roberto Sanchez and he said he will fix those. We were trading our car so we were all agreed that we will ke and Rim. We talked to the sales Guy name Roberto Sanchez and he said he will fix those. We were trading our car so we were all agreed that we will keep our car until this one get fixed. Roberto agreed to this. While we were signing the paperwork Roberto came to us saying his manager said we can’t let you guys take the car that you are trading. He said they will setup an appointment tomorrow and we can come back here and they will fix the car in few hours. We agreed to this and after the paperwork we took the car and went home. Next day nobody called me for making an appointment. I called them multiple times and I was being told they are busy. Anyways after 3 days waiting and calling multiple times someone from dealership called me saying that they will make appointment for Saturday and said if the car doesn’t fix in same day they will provide loaner or rental. I said ok. We went to the dealership on day that we had appointment. They said they can’t fix in a day and need 3-4 days and they won’t give any loaner or rental because we don’t have this in written. I told the sales manager that why don’t you ask your staff members what they promised us. After arguing with him for few minutes he said he will only cover for 2 day rental and rest we will have to pay for that. In the end they kept the car from Saturday to Tuesday so other 2 days I had to pay. They haven’t kept their promise and lied about it all the time in this process. The sales manager(Roberto’s Boss) is a jerk doesn’t know how to talk to people. I won’t recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Oscar Castaneda and the others we dealt with, along with the best price offer we found online thru Consumer Reports/TrueCar, made this a good experience for us two very senior citizens. We were more willing to drive the 40 plus miles to Honda of Downtown Los Angeles, the city we were both born in, to obtain our price. Over many decades of buying new cars, we have often found the experience needlessly stressful. Not so for the purchase of our new 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport L. Oscar and the others were completely transparent. I especially appreciated the staff's help in getting us the $500 Military Appreciation discount. That means a lot to us after a sometimes very different, and not so good treatment, during the 1960s and 1970s by general public. This is the third Honda we have purchased over the years and this experience restored a positive image of Honda in our minds. A year ago another dealership in the suburbs made us an offer in writing on a new CRV, that they retracted the next day, but tried to get us to drive 80 plus miles again to consider and look at completely different Honda models. Needless to say, we quit looking at new cars for a year, till we bought our new 2024 CRV Hybrid at Honda of Downtown Los Angeles. More

Oscar was great from start to finish, he handled most of my time there. He was very professional and relatable.
