Always pushing services beyond what I scheduled or wanted. Getting almost as bad as Pedersen Toyota in Fort Collins. I arrived on time for my 7:40am appointment at McDonald Toyota and waited for the work to be done. At 9:00am, I see my vehicle is still sitting in the parking lot (nothing had been done). I drove out of Toyota and waited for the work to be done. At 9:00am, I see my vehicle is still sitting in the parking lot (nothing had been done). I drove out of the dealership at 10:45am after work was completed. What is the use in scheduling a 7:40am appointment to only have my vehicle just sit in your parking lot for more than an hour? The only reason I can see is poor upper management of the service department. However, whatever the reason, it is disappointing and unacceptable. I’ve been a loyal customer of Ehrlich/McDonald Toyota in Greeley for over 14 years. Probably time to find a new service provider for my vehicle. More

The guy I initially worked with is not named below at all, but the guy who they had call me was nice and his name was Nicholas. I came in to this location after purchasing a vehicle from their Fort Morga all, but the guy who they had call me was nice and his name was Nicholas. I came in to this location after purchasing a vehicle from their Fort Morgan store. The services were set up here as I live closer to this location. River had scheduled for me to have my front windows tinted to match the back and have a clear bra put on the hood. I came in to pick my vehicle up in the evening, none of these services were performed at all. When I asked River what had happened, he talked about how they had me under the completely wrong name, but then proceeded to tell me that they did some “edging” on the clear bra that was already on the hood and tried to show me where the bra was. It was apparent that there was no clear bra on my hood at that time. River lied to my face and tried to say that it was already there to try and show me that my vehicle wasn’t at their site all day for nothing when in fact it was. I told River that when I brought it back in to actually have the work done that I would need to loaner vehicle for the day this time and he agreed. I rescheduled the service for 2 weeks later to actually have the work done, and when I came in to drop it off and pick up a loaner vehicle, somehow no one on site had record of me scheduling this appointment and they said I wasn’t scheduled for a loaner vehicle through sales. I proceeded to tell them that I had scheduled with River and this is what he promised me, they then told me that River wasn’t working that day. I proceeded to tell them everything that had gone wrong prior and that they needed to figure it out and after about 20 minutes of waiting they finally did. The incompetency of the situation and the fact that I was lied to straight to my face is what has lead me to leave this review. I will never be back to a McDonald Toyota dealership for any kind of service because it is clear they don’t care about their customers. More

This story starts out with a recall, schedule maintence that could have turned into a disaster but McDonald made it right and then went above and beyond. The recall was on brake lines and they handled eve that could have turned into a disaster but McDonald made it right and then went above and beyond. The recall was on brake lines and they handled everything like pros but there was a gasket that broke during install that in turn was allowing brake fluid to leak. My wife and nephews were on their way to school when the warning light for Low Brake Pressure came on. My wife was able to get to a safe place and the dealer made sure to get us a tow truck and Lyft to the dealer. They were able to fix the issue in a very short time. In turn we ended up trading that Tacoma in for a new used Tundra and Scott the GM and his team made sure we were taken care of and then some. I want to give a shout out to all involved, Scott, Edwin and Chad in Sales and then in Service Nicholas and Amanda as well. Lastly I also want to thank Brandon and Phil in parts with getting me set up with a bed cover. Thank you all for your help and you guys rock. More
