Moe did an amazing job during our visit, and we were very clear with him and the sales manager that we had a pre-approval letter and did not want our credit run any further. They assured us that wouldn’t be clear with him and the sales manager that we had a pre-approval letter and did not want our credit run any further. They assured us that wouldn’t be an issue and that the pre-approval letter was sufficient. However, the next morning, just before our vehicle was due for delivery, we received a call from the finance department claiming they had found a better rate but had run our credit without our consent. We were told this was "normal," but based on our conversation with the lender, the credit had already been checked, and another run wasn’t necessary. Now, we’re being flooded with counter-offers from various banks, which we were specifically trying to avoid. It's disappointing that despite our explicit instructions, our credit was unnecessarily run, and the situation was poorly handled. More
