A piece of my car broke off while I was driving down the road, which is apparently VERY common for Explorers. I was told it was covered under recall and to bring my car in. I was told what day to bring it i road, which is apparently VERY common for Explorers. I was told it was covered under recall and to bring my car in. I was told what day to bring it in and when I got there, the scheduler had made my appointment for the wrong day. Then when I came to pick my car up the next day, they told me other things were recalled and they fixed those things, but not what I had brought the car in for. Then I was quoted just under $900 to have that part fixed - all the while sounding irritated with me. I took the car to another mechanic, and he fixed it for $550. The reason I gave 2 starts is because they did fix the other issues from the recall very quickly. More
