We found the vehicle listed, titled as a Certified Pre-owned Cadillac. The price was fair and the vehicle was very enticing. We drove over 6 hours to take a look. The vehicle had some issues that made Pre-owned Cadillac. The price was fair and the vehicle was very enticing. We drove over 6 hours to take a look. The vehicle had some issues that made us question the certification process. Victor came and looked at the vehicle with us. As we discussed options and how to make the vehicle a good fit for us, it became apparent that this vehicle did not actually meet the requirements for being a Certified Pre-owned vehicle. An admitted error. Victor worked to make this an agreeable sale conditional on repair of these issues. We agreed to leave the vehicle there so that the issues could be corrected prior to taking possession of it. Unfortunately the vehicle was in the same state as we left it 4 days prior. None of the issues affected the drivability of the machine, but they were somewhat glaring for a premium luxury SUV. After much consideration and discussion with the team there over those 4 days, we acquiesced to taking the vehicle home with the expectation that the missing items would be shipped to us. Additionally, a repair of the passenger seat is to be scheduled in our local area since this could not be done at the dealer due to staffing availability. At this point we are still waiting for these tasks/conditions to be completed. We have placed our trust here. We love the truck. It is simply gorgeous. The items not yet addressed do dampen our enjoyment some. It is worth noting that the protective coating on the vehicle that was charged to us has yet to be applied. This is one of those things that is very difficult to verify unless witnessed first hand. We requested a full detail of the vehicle prior to our arrival, and pointed out the presence of leaves and mud in the driver and passenger side quarter panels when we left the vehicle on our initial visit. We were told that the vehicle did in fact get a full detail. That being said, I personally pulled several handfuls of muddy leaves out of the same areas I pointed out before. You may be reading this and wondering why we sealed the deal. We love the truck. Victor and Michael worked to make us feel heard and cared for. It would appear that there is a mismatch between the expectations of these men and the team on the ground. Ultimately we believe that Jarrett Gordon Lincoln Ford will make good on their promises. More
