And lastly, Marvin, the finance manager, was efficient, professional, and very easy to talk to. He made the paperwork process quick and straightforward, which was a huge plus. Let me start by saying that we have all had bad experiences in the past with purchasing a new or used car. I’ve had my share of dealing with aggressive and dishonest sales reps. Well let me tell you, I had no issues with two car purchases at City VW. Our sales rep Laura Torres was outstanding. She is such a sweetheart and a down to earth individual. She is by far one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. The entire staff was great. Laura, Clemente, Edgar and Lazaro were easy to speak to. They made our buying experience a positive one. Best car buying experience ever! Prior to our visit at City, we experienced a terrible experience at another dealership, and were hesitant to try again. When we arrived for our appoi Prior to our visit at City, we experienced a terrible experience at another dealership, and were hesitant to try again. When we arrived for our appointment, we were immediately greeted and introduced to Lazaro who I spoke with on the phone. He introduced us to Laura, and upon meeting her, I instantly felt at ease. She asked me questions about what I was looking for and what I liked about the car, I wasn’t really sure of the features, but liked the body style and trim package. I noticed there was a sign on the window of the car with my name on it welcoming me, that was a nice touch. Laura took the time to explain all the features of the car, show me how they work, and even set my phone up to show me the Apple car play. Along the way, she asked if there was anything that I disliked. She was honest about the car being sold as is, stating that they put the cars out in the sun so that you can see it as it will look in your driveway. She offered us the CarFax and encouraged us to review it. The purchase of the car went smoothly at the dealership, the only snag was with my bank needing a bill of sale in order to provide a check. Edgar happily prepared one for us, and went out of his way to take care of us graciously thanking us for choosing their dealership and making the hour and a half drive. When I came to pick up the car, Laura greeted me with a hug and the same kindness she had when I first met her. She was genuinely excited for me, and sent me home with a little VW swag bag. I will 100% recommend Laura and this dealership to everyone I know, and will gladly make the hour and a half trip for oil changes & routine maintenance! Thank you Lazaro, Laura & Edgar for your kindness and welcoming us to the City family! More
