No matter who tried to help, you just wanted to make sure this was a poor experience. There was unfortunately not one person that said they had a positive interaction with you. This response is a perfect representation of my experience! No accountability and distortion of reality. Printing out my paperwork and making small talk after I patiently sat in your dealership for 100 minutes waiting to sign the contract isn't going "out of your way" --- it's doing the bare minimum (and you only “offered” to help because my competent salesperson, Avery, could see that I was growing increasingly frustrated). Sincere apologies in the moment and genuine empathy would have been sufficient, but instead you've resorted to victim blaming and skirting the real issue. Buyers... don't be tempted by their sales tactics. Find a dealership and sales team that actually wants to delight you in the car buying experience. I've bought many cars from dealers that are excellent at this. Going forward, I'll plan to give them my business. Lesson learned. As an aside: the dealership responded twice to my feedback post... a generic and polite "we are sorry" message was sent privately and this gaslighting-style response was posted publicly.
