I purchased a vehicle on 9/5/24 from this dealership, and within 24 hours I notified my salesperson (Julian) that the rotors were bad. He had me come into the dealership on 9/10/24 to get it checked. I met w within 24 hours I notified my salesperson (Julian) that the rotors were bad. He had me come into the dealership on 9/10/24 to get it checked. I met with Tom Rodkey (Service Manager) and he test drove my vehicle and concluded that the rotors were bad. At that time, Tom introduced me to the Used Car Manager (Carlos Arias). That is when my expectation of Mercedes Benz customer serviced went downhill fast. Carlos proceeded to tell me that the car passed the inspection (which is bias because it is conducted by Mercedes, probably his department) and he refused to fix the rotors. Please note: This is my fourth (4th) Benz, and my worst encounter with one of their employees. One of the reasons that I choose to do business with Mercedes is because their level of customer service is EXCELLENT. No customer that just purchased a vehicle should encounter the RUDENESS that Carlos displayed toward me, He told me to return the car because he was not going to fix it. Everything about his tone and demeanor was DISRESPECTFUL, and I was very disappointed. As a result, I spoke to Dorit Figueroa and she went over her head to the General Manager (Jim Elefantis). Jim explained the issue with fixing the car while understanding my position. It is not what you say but how you say it. Jim provided the level of customer service that I have grown to love about Mercedes. He had my rotors repaired and I was a happy customer. I am so glad Jim turned that disappointing experience around. Thank you Julian, Brad, Tom, Dorit and Jim for making this repeat customer happy. You all renewed my belief in Mercedes Benz and the excellent level of service they provide to their customers. As a side note, I had an employee and customer inform me discreetly that they had to deal with Carlos' bad attitude and they were not surprise by my encounter with him. They told me to stand my ground. More
